There were so many drug related people around the main...
There were so many drug related people around the main center and especially homeless people everywhere. I went to watch a cricket game at the Seddan Park and there were about 6 homeless people often asking for money. I felt unsafe walking around the park. I tried to go out for tea with cricket families and got harassed again by the huge amount of homeless people on the sidewalks and fights broke out on the street outside a restaurant that we were eating at. We left as cars were racing down the main road and it was so loud we couldn't even have a conversation outside. Me and my bestie booked a Red Balloon ride over the Waikato. To avoid arriving late for the early start we stayed overnight. Our motel was conveniently located so we walked the distance to the city asking a man on the street for his dining recommendation. He suggested Pickles Restaurant. An excellent choice. The food and staff were 10/10. To the adventurous out there. Book or gift a balloon ride with Red Balloon. You won't regret it. Mark and his team are very professional.
