Wonderful, friendly family stay. We had a really lovely time here and ate the best momos and tamang daal bhat. Mandhoj and Sano Kanchee were very welcoming and kind. Excellent views of the mountains.There is plenty of bird life to observe from rooftop, including Bhramani kites, Eagles, bee eaters, stonechats, and bulbuls. Room clean with a very firm mattress. Would recommend for an authentic and peaceful stay.

A great place for some down time, the food was great with a really tasty chicken curry. Some nice walks around the area which can take you from six minutes to five hours. A beautiful place located away from the busier town so you can really sit back and relax after a long hike. The hosts are really accomodating and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend staying here.

The Facility was nice and clean. It was clean spacious and as expected from pictures in Booking.com, and all of us were very satisfied with the stay. Our stay was very short but still we had a great time at the hotel. The Owner and the staff were very nice. I would definitely go there again if we go back to Nepal. Had a glimpse of the Himalayas before the fog had appeared.

The rooms and overall amenities are better than other hotels in the area. The staff (including the manager) is superb friendly. Most spectacular thing is the view. Its a general issue with Nagorkot that its hard to find a vehicle in InDrive. Otherwise everything is 10/10.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times, it’s my favourite hotel in Nagarkot. The rooms are comfortable, food is delicious and the view is absolutely stunning. What’s more impressive is the staff: friendly, helpful, thoughtful and welcoming.

    In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

    The town itself is small and very local.

    The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

    The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

    I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Village View in Nagarkot. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the dal bhaat – it was fresh, organic, and absolutely delicious. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room was clean and well-maintained. One of the most delightful aspects was the soothing sound of the small river nearby, which added a serene and calming touch to the overall ambiance. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

    I loved staying at this homestay. Ram, Raj and the entire family are amazing people. The food at the restaurant is the best I have had during my time in Nepal! This homestay has basic facilities which is reflected in the friendly price. The beds are quite hard, but just ask for more padding and blankets and they will provide you.

    Very nice hotel with an amazing view from our balcony (attached to the deluxe double room). I think it might be some of the best views in the whole town of Nagarkot. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Wifi worked well too.

    I stayed here after a hike from Dhulikel to Nagarkot, and the place was super easy to find. The family was super kind and lovely to talk to. We felt very accommodated:) The food was also some of the best food I've had in Nepal. I wish I'd had time to stay here a little longer.
