I stayed at Unique Point Home Stay for two nights and I really loved it. The family is very kind and their food is among the best I have eaten during my trip in Nepal. If the sky is clear you will see the most beautiful sunrise from the rooftop & you can go on hikes from there. If you come by bus the only thing you should now is, that you will have to walk around 30min downhill but you can catch a taxi up in Nargakot and come down that way, too.

Very good hotel. several buildings right at the brink of a mountain. the view in a clear day is in fact like here on the pics. in Feb AC as a heater works well, no brainer. Food is amazing. menu is as thick as a novel, and they know how to put it all together! to the extend that i dont think it would be a bad advice to come there just for a meal.

Actually, this hotel is located in a very beautiful place and the experience of staying in this hotel was very beautiful. The rooms here are very clean. Specially want to mention of the owner and the staff. The owner, Mr. Mohan, is a very good flexible guy and the maid who treated me, Miss Sharitha, is a very kind woman. I really felt this place like my home. Don't forget to stay at this place if you are think to visit Nagarkot.

The rooms and overall amenities are better than other hotels in the area. The staff (including the manager) is superb friendly. Most spectacular thing is the view. Its a general issue with Nagorkot that its hard to find a vehicle in InDrive. Otherwise everything is 10/10.

    In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and...

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

    The town itself is small and very local.

    The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

    The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

    Sambar was a great host at this cosy hotel in Nagarkot. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The food was great (esp the set breakfasts and the thukpa) and the room was clean and comfortable. No heating, but Sambar gave me an extra fleece blanket and I bought a hot water bag from the local pharmacy (and some fleecy socks from a local shop). I did a couple of hikes with Sambar’s brother, Krishna, who was a great guide. They both provided musical entertainment on a couple of nights and were surprisingly good!

    distance from this homestay to the center of Nagarkot is more than 0.6 km. However, the view from the place is very nice. We booked the cheaper room, which did not have slippers, toilet paper, or a mirror inside. However, the shared bathroom had hot water. There was also no sink with a tap for washing hands. The food was relatively tasty, and the prices were almost the same as in town. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

    From the moment we arrived, the staff at Hotel Mystic Mountain treated us with such kindness, going as far as to upgrade our room at no extra cost for our baby’s birthday.     This is Bunglow of one Nepali Family basically from this village. You can not compare with Hotel. But you can enjoy farm house life and barbeque food here. This is situated 2-3 kms off road on Hill. Beautiful nature and Sunrise you can enjoy here.
