Staying here is the most beautiful place for anyonewho loves nature and is looking for peace and contentment while visiting Nagarkot. I kept extending because it was such a loverly and comfortable place to stay while fitting in a backpackers budget. The owner Mohan is a kind and lovely man who will go above and beyond to help you with anything and make you feel welcome. He helped me celebrate my birthday this year and it was such a special day. There is a big balcony for meditation and yoga surrounded by the garden, the food is great and authentic plus it is only a 10 min walk from town and 30min walk from the sunrise viewpoint. The rooms are comfortable and there is hot water showers if your feeling a bit cold after sunrise. It is a beautiful place to base yourself to immerse into hillside village hiking and enjoying the glorious views of the Himalays particularly at sunrise. Can't rate enough <3

staff is very kind. I had many opportunities to talk with them and was able to experience Nepali culture. There is a spectacular sunrise viewing spot nearby, which was very convenient. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel when you come to Nagarkot.

With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

    The town itself is small and very local.

    The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

    The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

    A nice home stay with great views to valley and rice fields . Big room, two double beds, nice balcony. Attached restaurant very convenient and food is tasty. Value for money. We did nagarkot hiking trail and we enjoyed marvelous views. Trail starts behind nagarkot village view hotel (300 meters from hotel uphill) and goes straight doing a circle. Path is flat. At the end either you turn left, to find asphalt road, walk uphill 30 minutes, cross village and return homestay, or you return same way.

    Very nice hotel with an amazing view from our balcony (attached to the deluxe double room). I think it might be some of the best views in the whole town of Nagarkot. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Wifi worked well too.
