The manager was too good. Good insight into the National park. The jungle activities are too good. You will enjoy the local taste. We really enjoyed our stay at Crocodile Safari Camp, the staff it's very kind and attentive. The facilities are in very good condition, the garden is very well maintained and the common areas are quite cozy and comfortable, so you feel like spending a lot of time there. Besides that you get lot of visits from different birds every day! For us another positive aspect it's the location, since it's not right in the middle of the touristic area but still very close from all the main attractions of Sauraha, which you can walk for 5 minutes and be by the river. Another aspect that is worth to mention it's the food! Shambu and Bashu are really really good cooks and everything we eat there was simply delicious. So far the best food we eat in Nepal during 2 months. So if you're looking somewhere to have yummy organic food give this place a try. During our stay I felt very sick and they took good care of me. They prepared some food that wasn't in the menu for my stomach and gave me some tee made from some medicinal plants that they have at their garden. The attention here couldn't be better. Also they offer a wide variety of activities for a very reasonable price, as they also work as guides at Chitwan National Park. Highly recommend this place!

I really liked all the things in the hotel. First of all, staff were so sweet and behaved good towards us. The room was clean, and the facilities were good, as well as service was fast. The food was also very delicious. If you are visiting chitwan, then I recommend you to go there ❤️.

The location it's perfect you are really close walking to the town so you escape from the noisy main street. You are surrounded by beautiful rice fields. It's a familiar business and they are all really warm and help with all the guide and tours that can be done at chitwan. Excellent breakfast ready to start the day and they also prepare it depending on your activities (never seen this in all my bookings in Nepal). Plus they have the loveliest dog ever !!

    The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

    The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

    Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4...

    Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

    It was my second visit to Chitwan.

    It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
