🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿The staff were so welcoming and professional, a really good honest family. Binaya spoke perfect English and was there to help with whatever we needed❣️ The carpeted room was large with 2 comfy queen size beds, Aircon, hot water,sofa and a TV with cable. Mozzie grates on the windows. The breakfast was lovely, a buttered egg toastie(you can have a Nepali breakfast if you choose)brought to us in our room if we were feeling lazy and the chef makes a beautiful curry! The whole place has a wonderful vibe with so many locals to talk to. We had a slight problem with the water however the owner jumped into action instantly to fix it. You can buy drinks and noodles and there is alcohol if you want a drink in the lounge. The owner sleeps downstairs on watch come midnight so it's very safe. Very quiet at night. I am going back as I loved every minute. Thank you very much 💐

The apartment was cozy, clean and staff made us like home. All staff including Ganesh were friendly and helped us navigate grocery, nearby amenities. Thamel was also close by , so it was great location for exploring areas.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this Kattel homestay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms are spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-furnished, with a calm atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The location is peaceful and safe, yet conveniently close to shops and local eateries. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food. Every meal was freshly prepared, full of authentic Nepali flavors, and served with such care that it felt like dining with family. It’s clear the hosts take pride in sharing their culture and hospitality with guests. What I loved most was the personal connection — the hosts truly make you feel special, taking the time to chat, share stories, and ensure you’re comfortable at all times.
