Loved the house and all the decor details! So cosy and welcoming! Breakfast was amazing and hosts were so friendly. Very good coffee. The house is close to restaurants (walking) and an ice cream spot too!

The Best Western Plus Hotel Amstelveen is a good choice for a business trip. It was a pleasure to spend time at this hotel. Breakfast was included and it was tasty and fresh. I don't know why in some other reviews I saw some awful testimonials. For me this hotel is good.

Our stay was an absolute delight! The room was massive, resembling a comfortable studio apartment. The extra-long king-size bed and soft pillows provided the perfect level of comfort for a good night's sleep. The bathtub was also spacious, allowing for ample room. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed from the start. As a pet lover, the clear pet policy and the loving and caring atmosphere of the hotel, with plenty of adorable fur babies around, made it feel like utopia. One of the most pet-friendly places we have been to. The restaurant at the hotel is a must-do! It offered an unbelievable culinary experience, surpassing my expectations. The club sandwich for lunch was tender and flavorful, accompanied by perfectly crisp French fries. The exceptional service provided by Michelle added to the overall experience. For dinner, we reserved the pet-friendly table, which was incredibly comfortable. The friendly staff promptly delivered the delicious food, and the flavours were incredible. Dinner, we reserved the pet-friendly table, and it was incredibly comfortable for all of us. We shared some delicious bread, and my wife had Ravioi Melanzane while I enjoyed the Chicken Sate. Let me tell you, it was a WOW moment! The flavours were incredible. We couldn't resist booking breakfast once again outstanding service by Davoc, with another amazing culinary experience but also made our puppies feel welcome and comfortable. It was truly impressive to see how well-behaved they were throughout the entire meal. Leading us to book breakfast and dinner every day of our stay. And the pleasure of meeting Benjamin at the bar for lunch. His cheekiness, friendly demeanour, and engaging conversations really raised the bar for other management and staff members. My wife even nicknamed him "sneaky sneaky" because he was always there when we needed him. It was an absolute delight and a much-needed highlight of our journey.

Room was well insulated. Didn't need any heating with 2C outside. In fact had to open the window at night. Towels were changed, even though I had left them on the towel rail. Very nice breakfast.

The property was a cozy 1 floor hotel with small but warm and confortable rooms. Beakfast was great. There was free coffee and tea all day!!! The hotel is managed by the owners. All of them are very nice and communicative. They are also very helpful on any questions you might have. I would recommend 100%!

    Reasonable cost for parking (anywhere in Europe frankly) is my motivation to look outside of centre of city areas and then use local transport or walk. Parking costs at hotels in our budget in Amsterdam city were very high - secure convenient Q-park station in Amsterveen was E18 per day compared to E40-50 a day at hotels closer to the centre.

    I loved the very name from the start!

    I loved the very name from the start! My first impressions the moment I arrived were positive, the younger lady at the reception gave me useful instructions on how to reach the centre of Amsterdam, which buses and trams to take; helpful with calling the taxi; the choice of food and drinks for the breakfast was vast and abundant, the lady very discrete and kind; other persons at the reception desk also very kind and helpful; I also loved the beautiful and friendly cat waiting for me sleeping in the armchair in front of the hotel, when I arrived late in the evening, giving that "being at home" impression. Really lovely!

    I was basically in Amsterdam.

    I was basically in Amsterdam. The transfer is easy with public transports. The surround area of the Hotel is not nice. There's a empty building in one side very creepy. and in the other side there's a field full of trash and old stuff.

    A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam.

    A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Close to the airport so there is a little bit of noise from the planes, but it wasn't bad at all. We enjoyed staying there rather than the busyness of the city centre, and it was cost effective.

    Use public transport where possible as its easy, clean, efficient and good value for money. Would recommend Villa Borghese and Gusto as nice restaurants for an evening out. Stadshart shopping centre has everything you need and with the Amstelveen bus station and tram stop next door you have easy bus or tram rides into the city.

    Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon.

    Insanely quiet for a Saturday afternoon. However the people in the pizza place were chatty and smiley none the less. Can imagine it's a lovely little place to visit in the summer when people venture outside to eat on the quaint little terraces. It is very pretty

    The location was perfect to go in amsterdam center by tram, the 40 min go by very fast. The hotel restaurant lucia was very good and not overpriced. The staff were very understanding and let us do an early check in since we had a baby. We had a problem with our shower and the staff handle it so well and fast, they understood how to make us feel important. The kitchen is fully equipped to eat at home. They even provide you with a care package of dish soap, new sponge, coffee, etc so you are good to go.

    The hotel was in an amazing location, very close to Amsterdam Bos which is where we needed to be for a festival. The staff at the hotel were amazing and the breakfast each morning was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

    It’s good value for money, the bus station was only few minutes walk from the hotel. We didn’t mind the commute going to Amsterdam Centraal as the public transport is efficient. Quick and easy check-in and check-out.
