The rooms are very spacious and very clean. Fully functional gym and a very good restaurant which is opened all day. Breakfast was awesome. However, the best part of it was the hospitality of the workers and the management. 100% recommended for anyone visiting Maputo.

If this is a 2-star hotel then 5-star hotels in Maputo must be mindblowing. Here's what I liked: - Daily cleaning with complimentary water every day - The room has AC, hot water, and a smart TV (I never used it) - The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a situation where I was being severely overcharged in the city. I called the hotel and they called someone nearby to come sort the bill - that was very thoughtful. - The location is near banks and some restaurants.

It had a great restaurant & pool. The staff also helped us book a private car, with a driver, from Maputo to Tofo. The hotel was fantastic with a nice big tv where we could watch Netflix & relax after a busy day. Very clean & the staff were so friendly. It’s right next to the President of Mozambiques house! It was in a good area & we felt very safe. They also have cameras in the hallways. Very central to everything. Highly recommended!!!

Their facilities are the cleanest I must say. I'm from South Africa and we toured Mozambique for 12 days. During our stay, we booked four different accommodations, of them all Perola Hotel is the only accommodation my wife didn't complain about. Everything was on point, from friendly staff, the food, and the cleanliness of the rooms and the artful designs of the reception area. On top of that, the car has parking that is secured underneath the building.

    Liked the beach and food. Don't like the fact that there is no English in that country. Communication is extremely difficult... It's close to impossible and mostly locals take advantage to mistreat of rob by over hanging prices.

    There was unrest so not great to move around at night (or day in some parts). Where I was staying it felt very safe and the area is nice. Further out towards the airport it is not great... But there is a lovely energy to the place and looking forward to my next trip back.

    Wonderful city...especially the sea-side though hot and humid temperatures can be uncomfortable. Love cycling early morning on Saturdays to Marracuene and back with less traffic congestion.Brisk walking along beach.Superb restuarant at Costa da Sol.

    The beach in Maputo is a little dirty water and not for activities. If one wants the beach activities the place is Bilene. Rather book an accommodation there although it takes 3 hours from Maputo because of speed limit that goes as low as 40km/h and mostly 60km/h.

    It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back...

    It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back here. Nothing struck me as welcoming or as a real taste of Mozambique. The beach doesn't seem maintained or safe. Only 2 things I loved, the Radisson Blu Hotel and the South Beach Restaurant & Bar, those were my highlights. I found the country pricey as well.
