It had a great restaurant & pool. The staff also helped us book a private car, with a driver, from Maputo to Tofo. The hotel was fantastic with a nice big tv where we could watch Netflix & relax after a busy day. Very clean & the staff were so friendly. It’s right next to the President of Mozambiques house! It was in a good area & we felt very safe. They also have cameras in the hallways. Very central to everything. Highly recommended!!!

    Liked the beach and food. Don't like the fact that there is no English in that country. Communication is extremely difficult... It's close to impossible and mostly locals take advantage to mistreat of rob by over hanging prices.

    There was unrest so not great to move around at night (or day in some parts). Where I was staying it felt very safe and the area is nice. Further out towards the airport it is not great... But there is a lovely energy to the place and looking forward to my next trip back.

    Wonderful city...especially the sea-side though hot and humid temperatures can be uncomfortable. Love cycling early morning on Saturdays to Marracuene and back with less traffic congestion.Brisk walking along beach.Superb restuarant at Costa da Sol.

    The beach in Maputo is a little dirty water and not for activities. If one wants the beach activities the place is Bilene. Rather book an accommodation there although it takes 3 hours from Maputo because of speed limit that goes as low as 40km/h and mostly 60km/h.

    If you're driving a South African registration vehicle you must bare in mind that u will be stopped everywhere there's police wanting cold drink hence all your documents are in order. You need to be nice to them

    It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back...

    It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back here. Nothing struck me as welcoming or as a real taste of Mozambique. The beach doesn't seem maintained or safe. Only 2 things I loved, the Radisson Blu Hotel and the South Beach Restaurant & Bar, those were my highlights. I found the country pricey as well.

    Radisson Blu Maputo is the best, I really enjoyed my stay. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly, not forgetting the delicious food. A gentleman by the name of Armando who works for the hotel, organised a cake and his colleagues to sing for me on the morning of my birthday, that really made me feel very special. To Armando and colleagues, please keep up the great work. I will definitely come back to Radisson Blu Maputo soon.

    The staff were really friendly and professional. The hotel is centrally situated, so going out to explore Maputo is easy. The breakfasts were wonderful with slight changes in the menu every day. Dinner was also pleasant. There is safe parking in the basement with a lift up into the hotel. Vehicle safety is important in Maputo. We enjoyed our stay.

    The hotel rooms are spacious, with up to date amenities and furnishings. Spectacular views of the Maputo Bay. The restaurant too has great views and a great kitchen. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Maputo that likes to come back to a peaceful envireomnwt away from all the hustle and bustle.
