Myra Hotel Mersing is a small hotel in the center of Mersing town. Location: Myra Hotel has very central and comfortable location. Bus station and ferry boat station/jetty were 10-15 minutes of walking distance from the hotel. ATM, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bank are just outside of the hotel. Room: I was provided with comfortable size room with window. There was a queen size bed with clean bedsheets and pillows, towels, an electric kettle, glasses, bottled water, a small console table with chair, a TV, an air conditioner, cloth hangers, a bedside table and a bench. There was an en-suite bathroom with hot water and soap. Walls in my room were dirty, with marks, stains and cracked in some places, but it was not an issue for me. I felt some humidity in the room. But I think it is a problem of all buildings located at the tropical sea shore. Free Wi-Fi internet worked very well in my room. I noticed water cooler/dispenser and iron board with iron in the hallway near stairs. I don’t know if it is for hotel guests or for somebody else. There is a deposit of 50 ringit. I don’t know for what, just know about it. Overall, it is a good place to stay for one-two days before/after going to Tioman island. You will have everything needed for modest but comfortable stay.

Cleanliness of the (deluxe) room, very comfortable hotelbed, friendly & kind staff & personnel & superb location, walking distance to the busstation as well as the city center of Mersing. We stayed here for only one night on both the onward trip to catch the ferry to Tioman island the next morning & ripon eturn as well to catch the early bus back to TBS, KL.. We pretty much enjoyed our stay @MGH and will definitely stay here again in future. Would highly recommend it to everybody

Brand new and beautiful. A lot of thought went into the design. The high ceilings make the studios feel loft like and airy. Simplistic yet sophisticated. Loved the design and decoration. The owners were so responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this stunning property. Great place to stay before we had to catch our Ferry to Tioman.

The place was easy to find, near the makan place as a few walk away. The host was good and friendly. Was there to collect our key. The Room clean and spacious, we manage to enjoy space and also have a good rest after the travel. Overall it worth to stay! recommend

The people who run this place are exceptional. We had to stay longer as the ferry to Tiomon was delayed by a two weeks. We stayed at this accommodation. They were really helpful toward us. The place is immaculately clean. They neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We will return. Eating options below. It’s a little distance from town but you can walk it. They are happy to arrange grab taxi. There’s a burger stall at the end of the road turn left open 3am. A breakfast/ lunch place end of street turn run and walk to T intersection. A good Chinese restaurant a bit of a walk (about 15 mins) near the HUGE Chinese temple that looks like a school. Laundromat about 20 Mins walk.
