I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a truly enjoyable experience. The room was clean and tidy, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Having a window made the space feel bright and airy, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee. The hotel’s central location made it easy to find restaurants and explore the area. Amar Camp (dans resort) will hold a special place in my memory for so many reasons. The location was breath taking. The resort is tucked away from the riverside with its own private mini beach where you can play volley ball and stargaze at night. The accommodation is surrounded by tall green luscious trees, birds tweeting and the flow of the river.There is lots of space for outdoor seating / eating areas which is perfect for reading, taking in the nature and socialising. I am an online teacher so WiFi is essential for me. I can confirm that the WiFi was super fast!!! I forgot that the accommodation included half board. The food was classic Malaysian style for breakfast and dinner. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They picked me up and dropped me off on demand and helped me get to the bus station which is over an hour away! Dan, Nazry his wife and all the others I met made the stay a truly wonderful experience. They are locals so know everyone in the town so if you need to book a trip you can ask them as they offer excellent prices and services. Would definitely recommend this place to all tourists!

An absolutely wonderful homestay! We used it as a base camp to explore Taman Negara, which is a 50 minutes drive away. The place was spotlessly clean upon artival, it is very spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen for ambitious booking. Private car park in front of the house, which is in a row of terraced houses. Zarina, the owner, responded within minutes to our messages and took really good care of us. Excellent shopping at Econosave hypermarket just a 5 minutes drive away. Would come again.

    Incredible Virgin rainforest region packed with wildlife, don’t forget your insect repellent! So many activities to do, hiking, boat rides, access to local tribal village. Lots of food options and mini marts for snacks and drinks. You won’t be disappointed visiting this place, families, couples, and those of all ages will be staggered by its beauty.

    Well developed town.

    Well developed town. I can say the level is as same as kuantan, ipoh, etc. Lot of good food easy to access, the town no so congested, so peace and filled with warm people. Nearby faclty like sport centre, shops, and others is well managed.

    Jerantut has a lot to offer for nature lovers like myself.

    Jerantut has a lot to offer for nature lovers like myself. We hiked Red Forest, Bukit Tabung and Bukit Seladang. Our previous visit we also went to Kuala Tahan and The Gelanggi Caves. Will come back again to hike a few more hills.

    Staff very² friendly. Uncle Max were so very helpful even late at night and Uncle Max was about 87yo. Kuddos to all staff. Kakak in the morning was really helpful. Forgot to ask the kakak’s name from Terengganu. I do like the area so real MUCH….!!!! The hotel was located in housing area which is so serene & so relaxing far from main road.

    Very nice staff. Never thought that cheap hotels have a very clean room & toilet. Bed also very cozy. Beyond expectation. I thought I couldnt get good sleep cause “cheap hotels”, what do you expect. But, I was having a very good night sleep with the cozy pillow & blanket. Good job!
