Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico.
Punta Allen seems to be a virgin place in Mexico. Not many tourists not many places like restaurants or shops. Its full of sargaso and at the moment properties cant deal with it and many of them are on the beach. But you can have nice excursions to see dolphins at the nature ,we took the fishers boat and went to see dolphins and turtles do some snorkel,kids loved it! We loved the boat trip organised by the hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful and a really relaxed vibe throughout. The sea is beautiful (agree with others about the plastic though completely not the fault of the hotel). Not sure why people are bothered by the seaweed….just jump over and the sea is right there! The scenery is beautiful. The village of Punta Allen is rustic. Casa Pascale is mostly for sport fishermen but we weren't and enjoyed our time there. It's impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable. But you need to know to what kind of location you are going to. Be prepared! And the road is 3,5 hours (43 KM) by car of bumping road an unforgettable experience.
