Location is excellent, very near to the beach, supermarket and restaurants/ bars. Breakfast very nice, every day besides general stuff, there was also something new and different. Personal very kind and helpful, especially Valerie. We felt ourselves very welcome and as in home. Daily bottles of still and sparking water, coffee and some small sweet treats were available and were nice touch. We had a late flight and were still able to use everything after check out of the room- pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar. In addition to luggage storage room, there was also a bathroom available so it was really convenient. Thanks a lot again to everybody in Seastar hotel who made our stay wonderful!

Cyclone Freddy required us to cancel our booking on the day, we were really looking forward to our stay, the reviews were excellent, the owner was very kind & understood our dilemma to exit Mauritius at short notice as all airport operations ceased the following day. We hope you all remained safe

Huge apartment, kitchen with all amenities, huge and not too soft bed. Really, really great host, who helps a lot with everything. Fantastic place to stay and explore Mauritius. Restaurants and bars are 5 min walk and beach is 7 min walk.

Everything was fantastic! The location of the hotel could not be better, right on the beach with stunning views across the bay. The size of the hotel was perfect too, there are never too many guests. The dining was managed very well with good quality food and enough variety to please all. The reception and serving staff are very attentive, courteous and friendly - the animators are superb, very friendly and with no pressure to join in - a big plus! The room was spacious & kept spotlessly clean, we found the bed was a little too hard after the first night so we asked for and received an extra topper which made the difference.

    Flic'en'Flac is the best place to stay on Mauritius, especially if you're visiting Mauritius in July. North was windy, south rainy but west side just perfect. It is a nice, vaste sandy beach with pine trees and palm trees, nice hotels and resorts, bars, restaurants and street food.

    We liked our chosen accommodation, we had a good view of the beach from our balcony, the staff were great and we want to go back to sample lunch at the Creole Shack! The beach was lovely and safe for swimming and there was a good variety of eateries from beach stalls to high end restaurants and all manner of cuisines. Everything is in walking distance and four km in land there is a very large mall being built and a new state of the art hospital. We will definitely be going back.

    Good vibe, nice restaurants, felt safe, fantastic snorkeling opportunities from the beach, convenient shopping mall at Cascavelle for groceries, etc. Proximity to Tamarin to catch catamaran trip. As a family of 5 we rented a car, which worked out very well. Taxis are expensive if you want to get around with 5 people, simply to do shopping, etc.

    Very pretty beach for a swim or picnic, parking can be tricky so if you see a spot take it :), the sand is soft but there is some coral on the beach and water if you have sensitive feet pack some water shoes. Lovely location for a swim and relax.

    Flic-en-Flac offers not a fancy stay, but congenial, friendly, and economical environment. Swimming in the ocean or taking a mile long running along the shore allows visitors to stay in good health while traveling. This is one of the very rare spot visitors get to mingle with Mauritian residents more closely, unlike in other fancy hotels. FNF is relatively a residents' beach retreat with great sunset scene.

    Lots of restaurants, stores and a nice beach to watch the sunsets. We ate supper at several different restaurants and every meal was top notch. Our favourite was octopus curry. On a sad note, stay away from the TIGADGET Store above the Jumbo supermarket in Flic en Flac if you are looking for a Emtel tourist only SIM card. He charged us 1500 mur for the same card you can get at the airport for 750 mur. Not a good start to our vacation.

    The best decision we have made regarding the trip to Mauritius has been to stay in this apartment. Not only for the comforts it offers, since nothing is missing and you feel at home, but also for the kindness of Johanna, who took time to explain the surroundings and much more to us. She is an incredible woman!! The apartment is in great condition, practically new and very well located. Only 2 min from the beach and with many restaurants around. We are going to miss the breakfasts on that beautiful terrace and the baths in that beautiful pool.

    C-view apartment is very nice and very clean, easy parking just across the street, certainly great value for the money. However if you are looking for accommodation on the beautiful Mauritius white beach, this is not exactly it. Beach is wide and long, water great, unfortunately in the area close to C-view quite dirty. Therefore we did not spend very much time on the beach and instead used the the time in Flic en Flac for traveling, and for this the C-view and its location is perfect.

    This very well appointed apartment was very close to the beach and the local restaurants. It was very well equipped for self catering and is maintained to a very high standard. Communication with our hosts Kurt and Rose was excellent and they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They gave us lots of useful tips to help make our stay very enjoyable. If we ever return to Mauritius we would certainly stay there again.

    Great location in Mauritius, close to the Ocean, about 15 min on foot. Apartment itself is very cosy with nice terrace, comfortable to stay for a longer time with everything that is needed. Really great host, we’ve stayed few days during cyclone, we’ve been informed with relevant information during that time and have not been left alone.
