Everyone spoke English which made life almost too easy! If you like history, this is THE place for you. It's easy to get around and my friend and I loved using the gondola taxis. Valletta is very good value for money and we were surprised at how cheap many things were, eg. happy hour cocktails great value at 2 for 1, so 2 cocktails for 4.50 euros! It was very hot and humid, so you might like to book somewhere with a pool. However, we preferred to be right in the centre and booked a day spa with the use of a pool which was lovely. I liked walking around its streets visiting everything i could . It has many places that worth seeing .Best part for me walking towards tritone's fountain .Mgnificent . Be sure to visit palazo of the great magister , the main catholic church of saint jhon the baptist , those two are a must ,afterwards try to explore baraca gardens and everything you can. History, history, and history. Plus, an interesting mix of cultures and languages. Very clean despite a lot of tourists. Any choice of food you wish - local, European, American, and Asian. The tour to the neighboring towns - Mdina, Rabat, etc. - is highly recommended as well. They complete the picture of Malta history you get in Valetta.Guest review byMichaelCanada

It can be found right in the centre of Valletta, close to the main sights and the central bus station, too. We enjoyed our stay here very much!
