The best possible location in Marsaxlokk. Balconies and a sun terrace with a view over the harbour are definite assets. Generous breakfast with both buffet and eggs-as-you-like-it options is another reason to choose this place. Last but not least, Michael, the owner, is what gives this guesthouse a 10/10 rate. Friendly, helpful, happy to recommend restaurants or excursions - and he personally takes care of the guests at breakfast.

This is such a lovely hotel. The rooms are very spacious, everything is new and if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax this is it. The host is fantastic and is very knowledgable about Malta and sightseeing. The free coffee in the mornings was a great start to my day

Everything was just nice. The staff is kind, place is adorable, location is just perfect. When we arrived, one of staff members explained about the village and what are atractive places to visit there. Thing that amazed us the most was the rooms names, out there you don't have typical numered rooms, but they are named with words. For example, our room name was "Tramontane"

    Having travelled around GOZO and MALTA for 2 weeks you realise it is a small place and you can get everywhere within 30 mins. We could have stayed in Valletta and done a day trip to here and it would have been enough.

    A charming, off-the-beaten path village with colorful boats dotting the bay and fabulous markets to explore - sets the stage for one of the most enjoyable pleasures of Malta. We reached it by bus from Valletta, which was both economical and efficient. There’s a wonderful choice of restaurants set up along the waterfront for a special evening, just one more thing that makes this town truly unforgettable.

    Nice place to wander around - the beaches and coast between Marsaxlokk and Marsaskala is beautiful, particularly early in the morning. There's a good enough connection through public transport to the rest of Malta to serve as a base (though I wasn't interest in going to St Julian's etc, so can't comment on how it suits for going out)

    Masaxlokk looks just like the photos!

    Masaxlokk looks just like the photos! It is a very picturesque working fishing harbour. Great market and always something to watch on the sea. There is a very small square with a few bars on it and the most beautiful church. There is a great choice of restaurants and of course fresh fish daily. One of the best things was the cheap and easy to use buses. We could get a bus just a minute away from our apartment all the way to Valletta for just 2 euros each. We used the buses to visit beaches and towns all over the area and it was a great way of seeing so much of Malta and experiencing other villages.

    Charming fishing village full of restaurants, a daily market by the waterfront, colorful fishing boats, close to nature, long walks, beaches and Marsaskala. Approx 45 min by bus from Valletta. Definitely worth staying at least one night.

    Extremely happy with Dun Gorg accommodation highly recommend to family and friends. Marsaxxlok quaint location , great restaurants and interesting market. Travelled around Malta with Uber and open top bus.

    Everything! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed during our stay! Michelle on Reception was friendly and helpful as were the ladies who came to check the hot tub on a daily basis!! The apartment is perfectly situated with stunning views overlooking Marsaxlokk bay!     The apartment was beautiful, very stylish and clean, all the essentials (and more)were provided. I think the photos undersell how lovely and spacious it is! The location is ideal, it's a nice safe area which is easily walkable to Marsaxlokk port. We would love to come and stay here again!

    Amazing hotel in a calm location, great facilities and very helpful and friendly host Dina. The option to get coffee in the lobby through the entire day was greatly appreciated and the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfy. Perfect stay that we'd fully recommend!

    Tiny hotel with a central location in Marsaxlokk’s harbor. Very clean, new. Hotel owner Michael is exceptional! He made our few days there even better! We spent every evening on the rooftop and enjoyed the view and the light wind. Highly recommended this place.
