A wonderful small, neat hotel, located on the first line of the sea. Directly next to a sandy beach. Very close to a public transport stop. Around is full of bars and restaurants, where you can have lunch, dinner or just have a drink. The hotel offers a classic continental breakfast. Very kind and friendly staff. Special thanks to the maids for their perfect job. We would love to visit again.

I had a fantastic stay. The property exceeded my expectations in every way. It was immaculately clean and well-furnished. Relaxing in the hot tub was pure bliss, and the beautifully designed terrace provided the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful environment while still being conveniently close to major attractions. Communication with the host was seamless, and they went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

I have to say that my stay at the beach house was the best of all hotels in Malta the reception Mera was amazing how she welcomed us and was there for us I couldn’t ask for more also Valentina the best waitress ever!! Everyone who worked there was just amazing as well I will definitely recommend this stay at any time even I liked it so much my next visit to malta will be in that hotel for sure!! Also to mention the food and the drinks are amazing really no need to go outside

    Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.

    The town is well situated and easy to access from the airport. Buses are regular, so other parts fo the island are easily accessible. There is a small sandy bay which is great for families. They have life savers, a wheelchair ramp down to the water, water buggy and chair lift for the disabled. There is a wide, modern promenade which includes sporting and exercise facilities, a stage and restaurants dotted around this area. The restaurants hardly offer traditional/typical maltese food (burger, pasta and pizza was the on offer everywhere) and the night life is non existent. The available facilities are not used to their full potentional sadly.

    We live on Gozo and carry Malta Resident ID cards but do truly enjoy visiting Birzebbuga two or three times a year , It is close to the Malta International Airport but has a more Maltese feel that many other tourist destinations on the Island. Excellent restaurants, safe beaches and easy access to Valletta and many spectacular historic locations. However if you are reading this with the intent of visiting the Maltese Islands, do also try to visit our own home Island of Gozo, It is very different from Malta,

    It's a typical little Maltese town.

    It's a typical little Maltese town. We found it interesting watching the cargo ships being loaded. No big supermarkets but lots of little shops. Covo ,Dar is sajjied and District Five restaurants were fine dining but the other restaurants on the beach served excellent quality food.

    Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the park and on the beach and ie you like looking at large container ships unloading cargo, (Pretty bay is a free port) it's the place for you . The only thing I would recommend about Birżebbuġa the warm water of the beach (the beach is full of cigarette buttes and litter) and the public bus leaving Birżebbuġa (it's only 2.50 euro anywhere and you can use the same ticket within 2 hours on any public bus) You may enjoy Birżebbuġa because it has a beach there aren't many sandy beaches in Malta. I do not give Pretty Bay apartments as good a rating as Booking.com it's a lot worse.

    The whole island of Malta is not that big, so it doesn't realy matter in which part of island you are located. Birżebbuga is less crowded with tourists and offers long walk along the coast. It has two nice sandy beaches with clear water. There is also a playground on the Pretty bay beach.

    Firstly we requested a room with a sea view however upon arrival this was not the case, BUT the hotel manager immediately assisted and we moved to a sea view room which was also much much bigger. The breakfast is extensive and I have to mention the pistachio croissants that are freshly baked every morning. Oh my word.... I wish I could have brought some home. Also the chocolate croissants were brilliant.

    The hotel was located by the beach and it was easily to commute to other towns from the hotel by using a bus. The hotel is modern and cozy. We loved the breakfast as it included lots of sweet and savoury options every day. Definitely worth the money we’ve paid.

    The location is amazing, right on the beach with great sea views from our room which was good sized and comfortable. Staff were lovely. Mirium on reception was very helpful - and good fun! Great value hotel next to bars and restraunts and the bus stop.
