Staff were very helpful and even allowed me to leave my luggage for a week while I was on a cruise. Room was very new and nicely appointed. Restaurants nearby. Try the yole sailing experience!

    Le Marin has a massive yacht basin which sets the tone for the shore side. There are lots of laundries, ship chandlers and grocery shopping to service boats. Also plenty of restaurants and bars. There is a yacht side of town and a local side of town -- both are interesting and pleasant. There is a large local market (not every day). This is not a mass tourist destination so it has preserved its local character. Safe and friendly.

    Le Marin is a fun and funky little marina town.

    Le Marin is a fun and funky little marina town. We were there on business - to survey a vessel for potential purchase. There's an incredible amount of chandleries there for any job, grocery stores nearby, diving shops, and endless restaurants. Unfortunately, there wasn't a beach within walking distance (and we didn't rent a car this time around). Because of Covid closures and curfews, there weren't dining options available daily (meaning restaurant's had odd hours) or after 5pm, but from what I gathered on their boards outside, the restaurants seemed to be top quality. We were in Le Marin solely for the survey of the boat, so we didn't explore much else. All in all, the town is extremely walkable and a charming marina town.
