Great destination for romantic holiday. Good restaurants, a lot of clean beaches, good size town, everything was accessible by foot, but enough things to see. A lot of stairs and climbing. Amazing place, some strongholds to see, some natural miracles like blue cafe and Kotor's bay. Somehow hard to drive in there, for the one that got used to broad roads and flat countries :). I loved the charm of the old town and the walkway right down at the water. So many lovely restaurants and bars and everyone was so friendly. Beautiful little town on the Adriatic Coast, plenty of old buildings to see with stunning views of the Boka Bay. Wear comfortable shoes if you're visiting Old Town, Herceg Novi is the town of many steps, but the view from the top is totally worth it! Buses are sparse if you're visiting other villages, but you should definitely visit the exclusive Portonovi Resort in Kumbor that is a few miles away. The apartment, though small, was perfectly cozy, exceptionally clean, and full of charm. The modern amenities made it feel like a home away from home. There is a small terrace to relax. The option to rent a parking spot in front was very convenient. The small public beach and restaurants are close by.
