You really don't need to stop here and stay over...
You really don't need to stop here and stay over... The todra gorge is beautiful to see, but you could drive up to it and out again. I recommend stopping at Family el Mabrouk restaurant on your way into the gorge for a truly authentic experience. They are so full of energy. Tinerhir is very authentic, with beautiful landscapes of the kasbah and the palmeraie. Nice panorama's and the Todra gorge is closeby. We arrived by bus and had lunch at the mosque square. To be clear, we stayed outside of Tinerhir closer to the gorge. But, the area has extraordinary beauty and it was well worth the long drive from Marrakesh. We were there for only 24 hours and could have stayed a couple of more days for hiking and just soaking in the landscape.Guest review byKenCanada

The friendliness and helpfulness of Sliman went above and beyond. Mohamed fed us well, catered to our requirements and at a time suited to us. Our room was large, with comfortable beds. The views were amazing. The location was great with a short walk into the Gorge, also down to the river below the hotel. We were on 2 motorcycles, which we were able to park outside, and enjoyed riding the roads across the mountains to Dades Gorge. Definitely recommend.
