wonderful hotel! location is perfect. square and cafes nearby, close to Medina, but still quiet and peaceful. Special thanks to Ahmed! He explained everything very well, showed and taught. This hotel is so pretty. A beautiful moroccan hotel with loads of character including a roof terrace you can over look the whole village. The location could not be more central in a beautiful cobbled street with the stalls directly outside the front door. My room was on a beautiful first floor over looking the street so was a little noisy until the stalls left for the night. I had ear plugs so no bother 🥰 We each got a lovely whatsapp from the hotel before our visit saying thanks for choosing our Hotel Gernika Chefchaouen, if you need any help don't hesitate to contact me. Very friendly and no trouble for them to direct our taxi driver to get us to the hotel from the parking area as it is situated in the center pedestrian part of town.

It’s very well situated! Everything is close by. The terrace is delightful. Our room was comfortable, well furnished and beautifully decorated. The breakfast upon request is very good and extremely enjoyable in the terrace when the sun breaks at 10:00 (in December). The staff is very nice (breakfast and manager). The manager is quick to respond via WhatsApp and totally proactive. The guest house is very clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely come back!

Breakfast is great. Staff are amazing! Location is not inside the village which I think is a bonua considering the many tourists or the noise from mosque/prayers. There are steps to consider but the view and facilities are worth it! I would not think there's a better more romantic place than this in Chefchaouen

Ahmed and Amina were wonderful hosts. Felt just like family. Decor is colorful, quaint Moroccan, impeccably clean. Amina made great breakfasts every morning and even washed and folded some of our clothes for a very reasonable fee. Ahmed helped us get acclimated to Chefchaouen the first night by taking us down to the main square and he found a great driver to take us to Casablanca airport. Highly recommend!
