Please avoid them and book everything through an authorized place, like a hotel. We stayed one night at Overnight Camp Erg Chebbi, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The location is breathtaking—right in the heart of the dunes. We arrived by camel ride at sunset, which was magical. The tents were clean, cozy, and surprisingly well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a private bathroom. Dinner was delicious, and the Berber music by the fire added a special touch to the night. In the morning, we watched the sunrise over the dunes—an unforgettable sight. Everything was perfectly organized, and the calm, peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a dream. Our overnight camping experience at Overnight Camp Erg Chebbi was absolutely wonderful! The camp is just magically set amidst the golden dunes of Merzouga and is simply breathtaking to look at and be in. The tents were warm, clean, and very comfortable with en-suite bathrooms and all the facilities we needed to have a nice stay. The sunset camel ride over the dunes was magical, and the local meal at the camp was great and freshly prepared. In the late afternoon, we enjoyed live Berber music around the campfire under a night sky—a memory that will last forever! The staff were all friendly, nice, and treated us like part of their family. We stayed in Hotel Les Roches Merzouga for one night and it was wonderful! The hotel is extremely traditionally decorated with spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always doing all they could to make sure we had everything we needed. We booked a desert tour and camel ride directly from the hotel, which was extremely convenient and well-planned. The area around us was peaceful, and the view of the dunes from the hotel was nothing short of spectacular. The ideal place to unwind and absorb the magic of the Sahara.
