This is something special. If you are bored with big expensive modern hotels and you are on the Morocco trip, try this. You will sleep in the old original earthen castle in so, so state (not collapsing, but not so far from this state, almost everything in this village looks like at the end of life cycle), but with very friendly owner who will prepare full tajine from scratch (not like in the restaurant, here you can wait almost two hours, it was excellent). Sit there, drink tea and relax. Fantastic return in time. Leave Ait Ben Haddou for tourist agencies, here you can sleep in the same buildings without any other tourists and crowds. Lovely place.

This place is beautiful. The grounds are green and peaceful, the room was warm, spotlessly clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. The building itself is also breathtaking. Went for a Hamam and massage which was a great experience. The massage in particular was fantastic, thank you! The location allows for strolls through the palm trees and around the ksar next door. Could happily spend a good few days here, sadly we only had time for one!

There was really good vibe at the place, the staff were really nice and in good spirits. The food was plentiful and good. The room was warm, since we were there in the winter. The sheets and blankets were fresh and the beds were comfortable.

So peaceful, tranquil. Soft lighting at night, so many areas to relax in. Dinner was full of freshly grown vegetables, thoughtful side dishes and delicious slow cooked tagine. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Just AMAZING - best place we stayed at in 2 weeks travelling through Marocco… Like all the other travelers said - wish we would have stayed more than one night. Absolutely spotless, and on point with all the details but the from, but also the outdoor spaces. Lights and hocks in all the right places 🤩🩷🤩 Beautiful decoration, spacious room, spotless, nice smells, super quiet. Best sleep on the entire trip. Also walkable to the Medina, which was such an unexpected cool surprise, busy like Marrakech, but without the Tourist touch. Massive thank you also to Pierre, for the recommendation with regards to the Carpet Cooperative in Talouste - I think we made a good deal and are exited how this massive carpet will look and feel back home. Lovely restored riad run by a very friendly and welcoming family who went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant and memorable one. The home-cooked meals and sweets were also delicious.
