Everything actually, clean, good design, nice staff, especially nice service at the rooftop restaurant. And location is great, on the nice side of the center, walking few minutes until freedom monument and the Art Nuveau district is just straight on dzirnavu street 10 min walk.

The room was exceptional! It came with a small kitchen which allowed you to prepare meals if you decide not to head out for food. Location is very central and the whole room was decorated beautifully! The bathroom floor was heated, which is an amazing feature.

For our purpose the location was excellent, opposite of the railwaystation and the international buses terminal on one hand, couple of hundred meters to the bus 22 (from or to the airport) and at the entrance to the Old City of Riga on the other hand. Rooms very comfy and excellent breakfast, even starting quite late (7 o clock). Hotel and rooms are nicely renovated and decorated, according to Riga's Art Nouveau style.

    Beautiful old town. Friendly locals. Great views from St Peter tower (Petera baznica tornis), and floor 26 (skyline bar) of Radisson Blu Hotel. See library, occupation museum, Doma church, art nouveau buildings, etnographical museum (bus ride), seaside. Lido chain of restaurants is great for reasonably priced local food. Centre is walkable, but cobbles are bumpy for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Many buildings and transport not yet accessible, but getting there! Reliable taxis.

    Beautiful Riga Old Town.

    Beautiful Riga Old Town. I also liked the Rozengrals restaurant. The ancient atmosphere of that era is very well conveyed. A beautiful view opens from the observation deck of the Latvian Academy of Sciences of the Riga city panorama.

    Riga is a beautiful city and has a fascinating history (well Latvia does). The public transport was brilliant and the 5-day city ticket was excellent. It was noticeable that fri/sat evenings in the Old Town were getting somewhat raucous ! Beer lovers (quality rather than quantity !) are well catered for in the city, the better ones are mainly out of the central area.

    There are lots of interesting places to visit, Old Town, shops, National Theatre, museums, bars and beautiful parks that are well equipped for families. There are lot of good places to eat and Molberts ice cream is a must! The transport system is second to none as are the taxis all reasonably priced. The Apps for these are so easy to use. ( Mobilly and Bolt)

    The location is excellent! Bus to and from airport to Wellton Riga Hotel and Spa is just about 2-3 min walk and costs only €1.50 OW. Coming from airport take bus 22 then go underpass and voila Wellton is there. Old town attractions are walking distance. Central Market is just a few minutes across the street. Nearby supermarket and convenience store. We also had a room on a higher floor with floor to ceiling windows and great views of the park, St Peters Church and the railway bridge.

    The location of the hotel is nice, its only 15 mins walking to the Old Town part. Private airport transfer was on time and was great to be at the hotel within 30 mins after landing in Latvia though it’s overpriced. Check in went well, the receptionist lady was very nice and spoke very good English. Bed was comfortable and the curtains were really great quality to keep the room dark in the mornings. The TV set worked just fine to watch series & news in English.

I had a room booked and couldn’t amend my booking (not hotels fault) and had to book a separate room for a another day but when messaging with the hotel they ever so kindly let me stay in the same room! Which was so helpful! The location of the hotel is in the heart of Riga old town and super accessible to everywhere! Definitely recommend!!!
