We stayed in a lovely lakeside cabin in Latgale with four adults, and it was perfect. The cabin has been nicely renovated, offering a cozy and comfortable stay. The property is spacious, with plenty of activities to enjoy – free bikes, boats, and SUP boards are available for guests. There’s also a covered gazebo, a barbecue area, and a great playground with small houses, slides, and climbing frames for children. The hostess is absolutely wonderful – kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape into nature and spend quality time in a peaceful setting. And if the sky is clear, you’ll be treated to the most stunning sunsets over the lake – truly unforgettable.

Everything. This place really exceeded my expectations. The place is hosted by the most wonderful and caring person and the place radiates her love and energy. The location - perfect. Located in a beautiful place next to the lake. The house was warm and it had everything and more. We stayed two nights in January and it was up to -17 degrees, however, the house was so warm we had to open the windows in the evening. The sauna was excellent and much needed in low temperatures. We even managed to get the barbecue going with all the snow coming down. And we spent the evening talking and having a drink by the fireplace. The house is filled with a lot of interesting things - books, herbs, decorations, candles, cookies, games, puzzles, and many more. It was very fun to explore the place. The house was very clean and it smelled like fresh wood - I got the best sleep in ages. The host is the most amazing person who loves the place and has put all her love and creativity into it. I had a lovely conversation ith her and I definitely will be back when traveling to Latvia. I can't recommend it more - everyone should experience it.

The host was very kind and helpful, told us everything we needed to know and more. The house is located right next to a river, in which you can swim, fish, or take out a boat for a ride. The outdoor toilet was tidy and there was no bad smell coming from it. Furthermore, there is a grill to cook your meat on right next to the house as well. The house itself was cozy and had a fireplace, which wasnt difficult to light up. In cupboards we found every necessity we needed: cups, mugs, plates and bowls, knives, spoons and forks, salt, soda and sugar. Nearest store is located roughly 20 minutes away, and nearest city - Daugavpils - about 30-40 minutes depending on your route. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and positive stay, and we definetly plan on coming back next summer.
