I had a wonderful stay at the Peridot Hotel! The cleanliness of the entire guest house was truly impressive — everything was spotless and well-maintained. Enjoy just being in the property. Quiet and comfortable. Almost forgot that I was in the busy city of Colombo. Staff were very kind and accommodating my request to keep my luggage till later in the day as my flight was very late at night.

-The staff are excellent, both Pathmi and Silva are helpful, kind, and do a wonderful job of hosting their guests -The place is spotless and they make sure it stays that way -They serve a wonderful breakfast of fruit, eggs, and toast every morning -Benjamin (the manager) made himself available via whatsapp and was helpful in providing tips and accomodating special requests -I loved the furnishings and the general vibe of the place. It feels like an oasis! -Comfy bed, clean linens, clean bathroom. I am picky on hygiene -Value for money is on point

    Watumulla is really close to the Ocean, the beach is...

    Watumulla is really close to the Ocean, the beach is stunning, and the bars great. There is a dive School (October to May) just north and the Mount Lavinia does incredible buffet lunches. Nothing better than Sunday lunch tehre, and an afternoon in the sun by the pool. Its really fast into Colombo in a Tuk.
