Absolutely exceptional - an oasis of peace, comfort... great pool including facilities - I enjoyed relaxation like nowhere else... One bedroom villa was spacious and very clean. River view is second to none. Also this place is kids friendly and swimming pool is beautiful. Main highlight is dinner and breakfast. It’s very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect stay at the Karanukarala Ayurveda resort, especially the Ayurveda treatment was wonderful. In the beginning, the crew told me it was fully booked, but in the end, they managed to schedule it for me. The room was big, and really clean and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there, especially to relax (recommend the yoga and meditation classes).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Suriya, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. This little hotel is a true gem in Negombo. It's just off the main street enough to feel like a sanctuary, especially on the rooftop where there is a little restaurant serving excellent food, yet it's close enough to gorgeous beaches and great dining. We opted to stay at the hotel for dinner and I had the best chicken kottu I'd had while in Sri Lanka. The rooms are very stylish and the staff are friendly, professional and hospitable. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in Sri Lanka.

    The Manager of the hotel and his staff (including 3 dogs and a cat) are above any praise. If you seek for a well organized place to rest without problems do come to Puetz Travels Beach Resort. Mr. Marcus will make your trip a real holyday. Even wild crocodiles that live in the nearby river dream to move to the magic canals of Puetz Travels Beach Resort. I wish i were among the lucky ones.     When you first arrive at the hotel, you will find an inconspicuous gate by the beach and for a moment you doubt whether you have arrived at the right address. But when you step inside, you will discover a beautiful garden with beautiful and comfortable accommodation. All this is underlined by the personality of the kind and reliable owner Markus, who takes care of his clients together with the smiling staff. The accommodation is located practically right on the sandy beach with a minimum of tourists.

    The Hotel is located in a quiet area close to Negombo. It’s perfect to rest and enjoy some peaceful time. Also the river is right next to the hotel which gives it a jungle feel. The staff is super nice and welcoming and always there to help. The owner was very supportive to arrange the transport from the airport to the hotel and in addition to the north of Sri Lanka. The rooms are equipped with an AC which is amazing to cool down in the hot period. Highly recommend for a great stay in Waikkal!
