The best place to start - or finish-a trip to Sri Lanka! Close to the airport, but a world away in terms of calm and loveliness. The staff were so welcoming - we arrived late and they made a lovley dinner for us while we swam in the pool. I'm coeliac and they went out of their way to create a delicious meal, and a generous breakfast. The room was clean and crucially had lot of space to put things/hang clothes. We wished we'd been able to stay longer to enjoy the lovley pool and the little oasis of calm. A perfect introduction to a beautiful country.

It's the best you can get. The owners are wonderful. The shuttle is a large new van, free of charge and hassle-free. The rooms are squeaky clean and have all you need (including universal power adapter)

Due to early morning flight we could not try the breakfast. Location is perfect to be able to get to the Airport as it is only 4km away. Host's are very helpful. Property is very well maintained.

Very pleasant and clean accommodation. We chose this accommodation because it was located near the airport. We were only here for a few hours but we were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and nice equipment and welcome by staff. We didn't know it before but the property provided a personal driver who would take you to the airport by tuktuk at any time for 800. We had an early morning flight and they had no problem picking us up at 04:00. Everything will be made more pleasant by 2 small dogs who will welcome you first.

Super unique magical atmosphere! It's like visiting your old friend. Everything is so comfortable! The owner is the warmest person in the world - makes you feel like you're at home even though you're on the other side of the planet. Stunning historic Mena house in a perfect location between Colombo and Colombo airport. The hotel is a true gem. Local cuisine is served at the restaurant ( amazing ) and the swimming pool is a great place to relax and unwind. Had one of the best massages of my life at the hotel spa ! I truly recommend it!

Amazing view studio on the top floor of Serene Villa, and it was a wonderful experience. The space felt very private and peaceful—perfect for some quiet time. I especially enjoyed the view from the balcony, where I could watch flights landing in the distance without any noise or disturbance. It was relaxing and calming, and I loved the mix of privacy and scenery. Highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway near the airport.
