The location was perfect, the food was exceptional, Staff - They were very professional and very helpful. Rooms are perfect to relax and well maintained property, which is very close to Gregory Lake, the hot spot. Price is reasonable, too. We will definitely stay here when we visit again. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The place is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Our room was very spacious, bright, and clean. The surrounding area truly feels like “Little England”—neat, quiet, and elegant. We really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast; the portions and variety were more than satisfying. There is also a nice restaurant nearby which is a good option, especially for drinks. The staff arranged a tuk-tuk for us to explore Nuwara Eliya, including tea plantations and waterfalls, which was a great experience. Definitely recommend this place—we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Thank you to everyone at the Loris Manor for an ideal stay in Nuwara Eliya. Particularly Krishna, who organised everything for us including food, tours, laundry and anything else we needed, all while keeping everything around the property immaculate - Juli, who brought us on an amazing tour around the tea factories, plantations and beautiful waterfalls and finishing at the old Post Office - and Chandi, who collected us from the station and was just a lovely energy in general. The value for money here was second to none, the place is cosy, the food was great in the partner restaurant, and all of the services provided were exceptional - and comparatively very affordable. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Nuwara Eliya.

We arrived to Nuwara Eliya on a cold, rainy afternoon. Queens Lake Cabin was absolutely what we needed for a perfect 1 night stay. As a family of 4, my husband and I took the downstairs bed and 2 children took the upstairs loft. We were pleased to discover an extra toilet upstairs for the children. All amenities were provided. Water, tea/coffee/toothbrush/paste/soap. It really made our stay much easier without needed to unpack everything. We had views over the lake and the Tea fields. There was a lot going on over the otherside of the lake in preparation for New Year celebrations, I believe. Viewing the lights across the water into the night was pretty magical. All while feeling we were up in the clouds. Even in the very cold conditions (16 degrees Celsius (we're from the tropics in Northern Australia)), we absolutely loved it. There was a couple of heaters provided also, which we didn't think we'd need but ended up using 1 after our rather cold adventures outside. The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed defrosting ourselves and playing cards late into the evening. There's a restaurant on site which we decided to dine in for the 1 night we were there. The service and food was impeccable and well priced. We were able to select food from a menu when we arrived and dinner was on the table when we came down later in the evening. Checkout was a breeze and the staff even helped us arrange a taxi to take us onto our next leg of our journey at a reasonable price. There's also a cute little Strawberry shop just around the corner to the left of this place which sells the most delicious cakes, hot chocolates and fresh strawberries. Definitely worth popping in for a visit. Highly recommend if you'd like to be out of the hussle and bussle of the town but close enough to enjoy the local attractions nearby!
