The most beautiful family of hosts that went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The rooms are brand new, very clean and tidy and well presented. The food menu was simple and the food incredibly tasty... and extremely good value! Organised a full day safari jeep at a fantastic rate for us. The hospitality can not be over-stated... absolutely beautiful family! Definitely recommend.

Roshan and his family are lovely and very friendly. He is best tour guide with a smile on his face all the time. He helped us with evetything; planning our holiday, recommending accomodations on our next stops, things to do and places to visit. Their food is exceptional. Dimes, the cook made an incredible job. Rooms are very clean, have an AC and we slept like a baby.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming guesthouse in Sri Lanka - the hospitality was beyond exceptional, and every detail felt so thoughtfully curated. The rooms were spotless and cozy, surrounded by lush greenery that created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Super nice, comfortable and clean room in the midst of nature. We had a self cooked dinner which was delicious!! Very nice staff. I can really recommend this accommodation if you want to do the safari since it’s super close to the park entrance. We will miss Guri the dog of the property 🥲

We stayed here for our Safari in Wilpattu National Park and had a very good experience. We were looking for a hotel close to the park with air conditioning, a pool, and dinner service – all of these expectations were fully met. The hotel looks modern and very clean, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. A special detail was that we received our breakfast at 5:30 a.m. for the safari, which was very thoughtful. My 7-year-old son is a picky eater and did not like the dinner at first – not because of the kitchen, but simply his taste. The staff were very attentive and helped us find something special for him, which we really appreciated. The view of the lake from our room was fantastic. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.

The surprise fireworks finale as we cut into a decadent anniversary cake? Unforgettable. Their expertly guided safaris into Wilpattu National Park were the ultimate gift. Twice we ventured into the wild, witnessing an abundance of wildlife —nature’s raw beauty at its finest. The A-frame pool suite and balcony room were divine: sleek, spacious, and designed to immerse us in the forest. Soaking in the oval bath while watching monkeys swing between trees felt like living in a dream. Every staff member radiated warmth and professionalism, ensuring our celebration felt intimate and flawless. This isn’t just a resort—it’s a curator of lifelong memories. Wilpattu redefined luxury and adventure for us. Already planning our 30th return trip!

I had an incredible stay at Tribe Wilpattu Eco Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park! The lodge is in a perfect location, just a short drive from the park entrance, making it super convenient for early morning safaris. The rooms were cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. The eco-friendly concept adds a unique charm to the experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. Every meal felt like a home-cooked delight! What truly stood out was the amazing hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warmth and attentiveness made the stay even more special. One of the highlights of our trip was the private guided safari arranged by the lodge. Having a knowledgeable ranger accompany us made all the difference—we saw incredible wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and an abundance of bird species. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located, and well-managed eco-lodge near Wilpattu National Park, Tribe Wilpattu Eco Lodge is the place to be! This stay was amazing from start to finish. When we arrived we were given tea and shown to our room straight away. We had time to chill out and have dinner at the stay. We then booked our 12 hour safari for the next morning through the stay for so cheap! The safari was amazing and our guide was so invested in allowing us to see as many animals as possible. Breakfast lunch and drink were also included in the price which was all amazing! When we arrived back to the stay we opted to have dinner again at our stay. This meal was one of the nicest and biggest meals I’ve had in all of my 5 month travel. It was 10/10. The staff were so accommodating and attentive. Anytime we left our room we were offered tea and coffee. The dogs were also a massive bonus felt so secure sitting out at night with them sitting at our feet. I could not recommend this stay anymore. Book here and make sure you book the safari through them! We got to see leopards! 🐆
