The place was amazing! The sceneries were great! The rooms were clean and tidy, they have managed the spaced well, even the parting was safe and spacious. The manager (Asitha) was the best, he was so helpful during our stay and he is also an excellent cook! Will definitely revisit.

Its a beautiful place in the countryside, simple and rustic and so pretty ... the bed was very comfortable and both the room and bathroom very clean and the breakfast setting, looking at the garden and land beyond, created a very peaceful start to the day and the omelette was delicious ... the host and his wife are delightful, too!

We loved everything about this place. We were greeted on arrival by the family and were able to check in early. They upgraded us to one of their brand new rooms which was an amazing raised cabin, it had stunning views over the pool and you could watch the sun set. They have a restaurant on site which was handy, breakfast was superb. The grounds and gardens are bueatiful and well kept. The pool is massive and kept very clean. Wish we could of stayed longer.

Harry was super kind during our stay at Afenta. Nothing was too much and he offered us tasty restaurants and gave us good tips for the area. Mihintale is also a beautiful village with beautiful nature.

The hotel is in a convenient location and easy to reach. The hospitality of the staff was excellent - they were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. I can assure you that this is the B&B with the best hospitality in the world. First, the room is nice and we love the balcony to work or chill out. And the food was awesome. We stayed 10 days here and the family served us a different meal each time (always plenty of dishes). We loved what they cooked for us (they made them less spicy for us and cooked papaya juice especially for me who love it every day for breakfast). The dogs are cute and friendly. And best of all, Kapila-san and his family are so kind and helpful. We could feel relaxed when I came back to this house, and spend happily with them. It was a very heartwarming experience. My wife and I were so impressed with his benevolent personality and hospitality that we fell in love with this country even more because of the time we spent here.
