It was a very special stay at Mandakini Villa. All the family members were so kind and gave a very warm welcome and they tried to make everything possible for me. I felt very welcome. The hospitality was so special and the food was also delicious! It was one of the best stays and encounters I have had in Sri Lanka. Even after I checked out, I was looked after very well. The location is incredible, very secluded and quiet with a great view. I can highly recommend a stay here. Many thanks for everything!

The hotel is in a beautiful location with a spectacular view from the restaurant and pool area. The breakfast is varied and delicious with a selection of continental and Sri Lanka dishes. We also had a lunch meal which was excellent, particularly the curry. The staff are very accommodating and the rooms are large and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at Tea Hills Ella! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed, and the view from the balcony is simply breathtaking. We were one of the first lucky guests to stay at this hotel, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella. The breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing stay. One thing to note: the hotel is not easily accessible by car, but the staff arranges a convenient Tuk-Tuk pick-up from a designated location, making the arrival smooth and hassle-free. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Tea Hills Ella to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Ella!

It wad one of the most magical places we stayed in Sri Lanka. The views of the mountain is just spectacular. The house is spacious, well decorated and equipped. The family owning the house is super sweet and made us feel right at home!

I had a wonderful stay at Idyll Cottage Ella! The bed was very comfortable, and the location offered an incredible view that made our experience even more special. Dashana, our host, was exceptionally helpful and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

As the name is saying the place is awesome! Super friendly staff, good food and amazing views from the top of the hill. If you are looking for a place which is more isolated and private then it’s a perfect. It will take approximately 20-30 min with tuk tuk to the Ella city. It took longer by car so recommended to take a tuk tuk. The weather was a bit chilly during our stay (January) so we needed to wait a sunny day to use the pool :)
