A wonderful and comfortable hotel in a stunningly beautiful place on the lake. A spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the sunrise. Delicious food and a pleasant stay. We had a lovely stay at Jay’s. He is a great host and his sister is an excellent chef. They made us a great dinner and breakfast with vegetables from their own garden. We often read ‘the best curry’ in many reviews, but I can truly say that this where the best meals we had during our trip in Sri Lanka (and we had many good meals).

This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo

Super nice rooms with huge terrace and amazing view, great for photos. Loved the lobby where you can sit and chill with your friends and even nicer sittting by the pool. Full bar with beers and other bevereges. We arrived Tired and hungry after 8pm And the owner and his wife Made us great dinner so we didnt have to go anywhere. They even went to market for fresh meat. Actually THE BEST thing about this villa is the owner and his wife, both very nice and extremely helpful. The owner was guide for 20 years and he recommended us many places and helped us with planning our trip. Really the best experience with accommodation in Sri Lanka. And the breakfast was really good too (served by the pool). Great service, you never wait for anything and they try to make you feel welcome and homelike. Just awesome, thank you so much.

This is an exceptionally well run lodge offering lovely cabins - a short buggie ride away from the lodge. The main building has comfortable seating to relax in and a restaurant. The food is excellent & we loved our stay. I highly recommend this lodge.

The hose Thushan was really helpful and kind. He always made sure that we can have relaxing time in there. He helped us to borrow a tuk-tuk and gave us even a tour. We got to visit local place around. It was not just about place to sleep. It was appreciating the nature, trying homemade local food. The breakfast and dinner (with small extra fee) were amazing. The host does his best to make guests enjoying the place. And the place itself is beautiful. So beautiful…
