Animals Ahangama is an absolute gem. The boutique design is stunning — cozy, stylish, and full of character. It truly feels like a home away from home. The property is brand new, very well decorated and clean. Since it’s outside the main road, it’s also very quiet and peaceful. The owner and staff are the friendlier and caring you can find - ready to assist any time - who also prepare delicious and varied breakfast every day. We booked the place for two nights and ended up staying six. WiFi works is extremely fast, which is very convenient if you have to work and do VTC. Also the rooms are much bigger than advertised, they have a separate kitchen and a washing machine! We would definitely go back to this peaceful hidden gem! A special thanks to Sasini and Menaka for their kindness - we will miss you!

I had a wonderful stay at Ceagull and after a while it felt like home. The hotel is located just a short walk away from the noisy and busy main road as well as the train tracks and a few minutes walk from Kabalana beach. Still u can reach Ahangama town in a short tuk tuk ride. There is also a small village shop close to it and a few restaraunts. It is a secure, enclosed complex with a nice garden area and all rooms front porches with sitting facilities face to the centered garden. It also nice for family with kids, because they can run around and it is very safe. Rooms are spacious, airy, clean and equipped with all necessary stuff. Shower was big and the water pressure was really good. The hotel also provided a mosquito tent, which I highly appreciated. The breakfast is big and delicious. U are able to choose every evening from a variety of western/salty/sweet and sri lankan options. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful and they always had a smile on their face. Shashini the manager is keeping an eye on everything and u can feel a good team spirit from all the members of the staff. The hospitality of everyone there is just beyond expectations. They also help u arranging scooter rental, airport transfer and will always give advice how to get around.

The rooms are big, stylish and there are a lot of small details that are awesome. The bathroom is beautiful and the pool and restaurant area is nice too. The owners ans staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would 100% recomend to stay at the Jini House.

Everything and anything!!! This place is a paradise on earth… truly magical! It’s 3 min by Tuk Tuk, or motorbike from the beach, which is just what you need to be away from the main road. It’s completely immerse in nature and next to the lake… endless numbers of animals and birds surround the property. You have a natural sounds playlist 24h a day!! The owner Andy, and the manager Yanaka + the cooks are the nicest and kindest persons, and they truly do everything to make your stay perfect!! The rooms are incredibly well decorated, huge and super clean with any type of facility!! The garden, overlooking rice fields, is a park itself. You can also get a massage booked or do yoga and breathwork under one of the many trees!! A true place for the soul 🌴🍉🥥 will be back soon
