Wonderful, tastefully decorated hotel. Lots of attention to detail. Cozy, quiet and clean. The hotel is in a busy area, but it doesn't feel it inside at all. The room we stayed in has the option of sliding the glass windows and forming a common space with a terrace. All you have in front of you is the ocean. Arriving from the airport is really easy - almost the entire way is on a toll highway. The hotel staff is extremely pleasant and kindly. I'm not even talking about Francesca. She's amazing!!! Thank you for the early check in and late check out. I haven't had a tastier breakfast in those regions. Even the espresso was good, which is rare in Sri Lanka or I haven't been in right places. Be sure to try the massage. Something unique.

Unbeatable location in Hikkaduwa! The two main surf breaks are right at your doorstep. Breakfast included is amazing, actually everything on the menu is incredible. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed here twice on our trip and decided on the King Room with Sea View for our second stay (first stay was Garden View) both rooms were lovely but can’t beat the Sea View room. Sun beds by the beach were an extra bonus! Loved our multiple stays here.

    Hikkaduwa has fabulous beaches but when we stayed in March...

    Hikkaduwa has fabulous beaches but when we stayed in March the flags were up for no swimming as the waves were so big. This was not a problem for us as we did not want to swim particularly but people that want to snorkeor have young children that want to swim may be disappointed. Great to be close to Galle but be in a quieter location. Aboit 20 mins by car. Lots of little bars and places to eat along the beach. Beaches are quiet and less full of tourist than Galle. There are quite a few stray dogs (everywhere in Sri Lanka) which don't bother you but do be mindful that they may go to the toilet on the beach so watch where you tread!!!

    The water temp was nice, waves for surfing & plenty of shops & restaurants to choose from. Close proximity to Galle by bus & snorkelling at ant of the beaches to see colourful fish + turtles.

    I was away for 44 nights in the sun.

    I was away for 44 nights in the sun. Swimming reading away from a cold winter. What else can you ask for. Got good food good people. Beautiful beaches, so many beautiful things to see. Fish everywhere, sharks ( baby ones) turtles. Elephants safari the place is awesome.

    Excellent location , Great food & , above all , brilliant helpful staff But … In need of refurbish. The rooms - especially bathroom needs to be updated. The AC unit Very noisy , even on lowest setting.

    Hikkaduwa is one of the best places to stay few days at the southeast coast of Sri Lanka. Very nice,clean beach with fine golden sand,many guest houses and hotels,restaurants. Easy to reach nearby historic Galle town by bus or train-ca 1/2hour, Bamian Buddha Statue/Tsunami museum in Peraliya or Seenigama Buddish/HinduTemple few hundred meters away.

    We loved this place! As a family of 4, we had the big family room/apartment facing the sea with the most amazing balcony. The room is huge we had lots of space. Three separate rooms with large double beds. The location is great, nice, and chilled but only just down the beach from main hikkaduwa. The staff were so welcoming and really looked after us. Bobby is a credit to the hotel. My kids loved him. He took them hunting for turtles, laying eggs on the beach.

    Beautiful boutique hotel right on the beach on the edge of Hikkaduwa - seaview suite view was stunning, staff lovely and excellent customer service throughout. Food in the hotel was really good (recommend the chili crab, and traditional Sri Lankan curry particularly). Big shout out to Tyronne and his team in the restaurant - excellent service and nothing was too much trouble, always welcoming and happy smiling face!
