10/10 on all accounts. This homestay was our favourite accomodation in Sri Lanka by far!! With an amazing view, lovely, clean bedrooms (with a really comfy bed), and the best hosts you could ask for, we would recommend this place to anyone! Definitely will make your trip in Kandy, and if you can spend a few days Vipul will happily do tours to local areas which I can only imagine are excellent!

Once you enter the property is like stepping back in time, where modernity mixes with history in a very relaxing atmosphere, the staff is young and willing to go above and beyond of your expectation, nothing is impossible, a smile is guaranteed, bed are comfortable and rooms are super well equipped and really chic, food is very good and we cannot wait to come back good job guys!!! Lakshitha is a fantastic host who makes you feel at home from the very first moment. I expressed my interest in visiting a local temple, and he went out of his way to take me to one, even sharing his knowledge of Buddhism and meditation. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, and I always received a personalized experience from both hosts. I would highly recommend this property to any friends and potential travelers.

The hotel is in a stunning location and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and everyday a different Sri Lanka meal. The hotel has still a lot of the original furniture and old colonial feeling.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our visit special. They even arranged delicious dinners for us, organized tuk-tuk rides, and showed us their beautiful Ayurvedic garden where we enjoyed a relaxing massage and discovered some excellent natural products. The local breakfast was also very tasty and a perfect start to the day. We truly felt cared for and can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and authentic experience.

We had an amazing 5-night stay at this wonderful place! The owner was incredibly friendly, generous, and made us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised when he offered us fresh juices for free, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hospitality here was top-notch, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Very lovely family, Ravi, his wife and mother are so nice and try their absolute best to give you a perfect stay. Arrange Tuktuks, cook tasty meals and help with anything you need. It‘s in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view. Their are no windows, so it may be loud during the night when the dogs bark, so bring along some ear plugs.

It’s a lovely apartment set on high grounds amidst greenery. I had the upper apartment and it has all the amenities like a home. The manager, Sasila, was helpful and explained about the room features and also the timings the mosquitoes would appear. 🥰 It is a most comfortable stay. One may hear a bit of traffic sometimes but earplugs are available. There are fruit stalls nearby and Mawanella is only 3km away.
