We started our journey in Sri Lanka from Wilpattu National Park and we decided to spend two days in this magnificent place immersed in the nature, no chaos, just the sound of the birds. The rooms are simple, but they have everything you need. The owner Anta is such a nice person and also knows a lot about the area and its wildlife: he took us on a birding tour on the first day and we spotted many beautiful species. We also had a full day safari with Arshe, one of his guide, and its been magic! So I really can say that this place is fully recommended if you like nature, nice food and good people!

Roshan and his family are lovely and very friendly. He is best tour guide with a smile on his face all the time. He helped us with evetything; planning our holiday, recommending accomodations on our next stops, things to do and places to visit. Their food is exceptional. Dimes, the cook made an incredible job. Rooms are very clean, have an AC and we slept like a baby.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming guesthouse in Sri Lanka - the hospitality was beyond exceptional, and every detail felt so thoughtfully curated. Super nice, comfortable and clean room in the midst of nature. We had a self cooked dinner which was delicious!! Very nice staff. I can really recommend this accommodation if you want to do the safari since it’s super close to the park entrance. We will miss Guri the dog of the property 🥲

We stayed here for our Safari in Wilpattu National Park and had a very good experience. We were looking for a hotel close to the park with air conditioning, a pool, and dinner service – all of these expectations were fully met. The hotel looks modern and very clean, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. A special detail was that we received our breakfast at 5:30 a.m. for the safari, which was very thoughtful. My 7-year-old son is a picky eater and did not like the dinner at first – not because of the kitchen, but simply his taste. The staff were very attentive and helped us find something special for him, which we really appreciated. The view of the lake from our room was fantastic. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.

This hotel is still being developed and they are still to construct the restaurant and finish the grounds and shared facilities. The rooms however, are already finished and very stylish and spacious, with a nice outdoor tub and brand new finishes. Despite the resort not yet being completely finished, we had a fantastic time, mostly due to the amazing staff and the location in the middle of nature, amongst the birds and other animals. The staff arranged basic, but very tasty meals and lunch boxes and an excellent safari guide (we saw three leopards!). We'll definitely go back on our next trip to Sri Lanka!

I had an incredible stay at Tribe Wilpattu Eco Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park! The lodge is in a perfect location, just a short drive from the park entrance, making it super convenient for early morning safaris. The rooms were cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. The eco-friendly concept adds a unique charm to the experience. The food was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. Every meal felt like a home-cooked delight! What truly stood out was the amazing hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warmth and attentiveness made the stay even more special. One of the highlights of our trip was the private guided safari arranged by the lodge. Having a knowledgeable ranger accompany us made all the difference—we saw incredible wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and an abundance of bird species. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located, and well-managed eco-lodge near Wilpattu National Park, Tribe Wilpattu Eco Lodge is the place to be! Can't wait to visit again! 🌿🐆✨

This stay was amazing from start to finish. When we arrived we were given tea and shown to our room straight away. We had time to chill out and have dinner at the stay. We then booked our 12 hour safari for the next morning through the stay for so cheap! The safari was amazing and our guide was so invested in allowing us to see as many animals as possible. Breakfast lunch and drink were also included in the price which was all amazing! When we arrived back to the stay we opted to have dinner again at our stay. This meal was one of the nicest and biggest meals I’ve had in all of my 5 month travel. It was 10/10. The staff were so accommodating and attentive. Anytime we left our room we were offered tea and coffee. The dogs were also a massive bonus felt so secure sitting out at night with them sitting at our feet. I could not recommend this stay anymore. Book here and make sure you book the safari through them! We got to see leopards! 🐆
