The hotel is in a beautiful location with a spectacular view from the restaurant and pool area. The breakfast is varied and delicious with a selection of continental and Sri Lanka dishes. We also had a lunch meal which was excellent, particularly the curry. The staff are very accommodating and the rooms are large and comfortable.

Magical peaceful space set about 2k from the city of Ella, with a short tuck tuck ride to the city centre. A family run business who was so kind and nice. A big, healthy breakfast. A large double room with a big private balcony. Really comfortable bed. Would highly recommend for people who don't want to be in the madness and loudness of Ella. The owner arranged everything for us. He even recommended a lovely restaurant and dropped us to the door.

The location is just incredible, the view over the valley is breathtaking. The rooms are well designed, cozy and clean. The host was very helpful and prepared a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Great value for money, definetely reccomended.

It is in a quiet and beautiful location with amazing views. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. The food at the restaurant is tasty, and the pool is wonderful. My room was clean and comfortable, and I loved being surrounded by nature. A perfect place to relax!

Amazing stay that was complemented by an amazing host! The pictures speak for themselves. You have a private and cozy room that overlooks the trees and the famous bridge. Despite being so close to this landmark, it feels private and away from all the noise of the center of Ella. The host genuinely went above and beyond and host I have ever met. He made us feel comfortable, helped us get around Ella, and provided us with an extragavant breakfast in the morning. Honestly, a very kind and generous human being. Would definitely come back to stay at this lovely location with this amazing host.

Harish was so welcoming! He gave us advice, did our washing and even let us have a late check out. The breakfast was amazing and the views were absolutely gorgeous. We saw lots of wildlife from the balcony.

    The amazing and perfect nature around Ella is getting over exploited. Too many buildings (hotels in particular) are under construction in the delicate hills of Ella, they should protect the environment as the place will loose its magic if it becomes just some kind of shopping mall / tourist centre. The hotels are already enough, no need for more.

One of the best things about Ella is how laid-back and peaceful it is, yet there's so much to explore.     It's a beautiful place on top of the mountains, surrounded by mountains and clouds, just like in a heave. Food was delicious 😋 I can never forget the rice and curry bowl I had at Serenite. It's a perfect place for peace, that relaxes your senses. Ravana waterfall is a must to visit.

    Very friendly and vibrant town.

    Very friendly and vibrant town. The walk up Ella Rock is a must, but make sure you look at an online guide first. We got lost on the way up adding several difficult km's of walking. The trip out to Lipton's seat is worth it for the views along the way as well as from the seat itself. The train to NanuOya is also well worth the ticket price.

    Ella is a small town with breathtaking views and well organized place for tourists, If you are a nature lover and looking for a good quality time of enjoying hikes / mountains / zip lines / pictures with your family for a good prize , Ella is the place. Very safe for solo travelers too. Don't expect 5 stay luxury restaurants / high class bars etc. Lots of sign boards around guiding tourists to select the places they like to visit. Tuk tuk prizes are fixed for most places. don't forget to take a dip in fresh waters Ella offers in high mountain water falls.

    Lovely hotel. Staff were so lovely and welcoming and made us feel so special. They were so lovely with my son. Room was clean and comfortable, with incredible views overlooking Ella’s rock and Little Adam’s Peak. Food was really good too, we had dinner and breakfast and everything was cooked fresh for us by the lovely chefs. Perfect location for exploring Ella! We chose to get tuktuks as didn’t want to walk up the hill but they are super cheap. Ella has so much to offer, I wish we had longer. Would definitely recommend.

    This is a really lovely homestay! It is clean and comfortable and a wonderful haven oasis in the jungle, away from the hectic main road of Ella town. This is not a 5* luxury hotel, it's a clean and comfortable room part of a family's home. It is a little walk - 20 minutes on hilly bumpy road - from the main town, but for me it was perfect. You are already on the way to climb ella rock! I really enjoyed my stay here.

    Great stay at this homestay. The view from the room and the balcony where breakfast is served is absolutely beautiful. You can walk into town from the location too. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is brilliant, different each day. There is a driving service from the homestay where you can use the car, we got to see all of Ella in comfort, but it is a luxury option so good idea to agree prices first.

    Stunning view and so peaceful - nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Ella town. Lying in the nets while the trains go past is a real luxury. The family who own the property are lovely and go above and beyond to assist. The breakfast is also delicious and plentiful. Loved our stay here.
