Indika, Dineshi and their children and all of the staff are really what makes places like these so special. We had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is spectacular! The pool refreshing and well designed throughout. The kitchen is excellent and the one time we decided to have dinner in Galle we were left wondering why we didn’t just stay at the hotel to eat the food was that good!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience! Our stay at the Dormero Hotel in Sri Lanka was nothing short of amazing! Amaroo is pure serenity! The stunning location makes it the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by nature and beauty. Everything here is high quality, from the accommodations to the atmosphere. My room was stunning, so clean, and had a comfortable bed. I loved waking up to the view of the sea and hearing the waves off my balcony. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the service was amazing! I especially loved the fresh ingredients and high-quality breakfast. I found peace, comfort, and a truly relaxing stay. This is the place where you want to stay while visiting Sri Lanka. You spending your holiday in the history of this country. A spice traders house built in 1860 and completely renovated recently with lots of taste. The rooms, the living and dining areas, garden with the pool, everything is so beautiful and it feels it’s your own private home. Also breakfast and dinner was amazing and very tasty. The manager and all the staff are extremely helpful and super friendly. As it’s just a bit outside of Galle Fort, it’s super calm. But only a short stroll to reach the harbour with the local fisherman and the old town by foot. If not, a Tuk Tuk ride takes 5 minutes. Everything was just perfect.

The Galle Heritage Villa is really a fantastic place to stay in Galle. Ideally located in a nice central street of the Galle Fort, this beautifully renovated colonial house is perfect. Very warm welcome from the people managing the place, very quiet area and room, at our arrival, and all along the stay. The Villa is decorated with a perfect taste and refinement, large common areas, a nice yard with trees, grass, amchairs and garlands of lights at night. We stayed in one of the 2 rooms at the frist floor. Our room was very accommodating and spacious, with a kettle for making tea and coffee. Here also a refined choice of teas. The bathroom was huge with every possible comfort and nicely decorated. The value for money was really good. Do not hesitate one second!

It was really amazing stay. It looks like on pictures. I felt very well take care for. The hotel has just 4 rooms, gives you private vibes, very calm place, nice environment around (jungle vibes). Very close to the beach and "center" (5 mins), but thankfully outside of noisy busy life. Breakfast was good and everyday different (srilankan, but you can opt for classic english). Room was beautiful and spacious, all facilities worked well. Complimentary water after cleaning. Great matress and bedsheets, for me very suitable pillows. Special thanks to Theekshana for booking for me private yoga class and other things, as well as management of late check-out for me.
