Very cozy and stylish place in the beach. Going to bed hearing the waves. Pure tranquility. The beach is extremely nice. There are a few restaurants close and all very good for breakfast and other meals. Staff very warm and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Indika, Dineshi and their children and all of the staff are really what makes places like these so special. We had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is spectacular! The pool refreshing and well designed throughout. The kitchen is excellent and the one time we decided to have dinner in Galle we were left wondering why we didn’t just stay at the hotel to eat the food was that good!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience! Our stay at the Dormero Hotel in Sri Lanka was nothing short of amazing! The staff here is truly the best we have ever encountered – attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with a fantastic ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Without even asking, they graciously upgraded our room because there was availability – such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more special. Breakfast was an absolute highlight – delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The top manager deserves special recognition for being incredibly kind, approachable, and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you, Dormero Hotel, for creating such unforgettable memories for us. This is the place where you want to stay while visiting Sri Lanka. You spending your holiday in the history of this country. A spice traders house built in 1860 and completely renovated recently with lots of taste. The rooms, the living and dining areas, garden with the pool, everything is so beautiful and it feels it’s your own private home. Also breakfast and dinner was amazing and very tasty. The manager and all the staff are extremely helpful and super friendly. As it’s just a bit outside of Galle Fort, it’s super calm. But only a short stroll to reach the harbour with the local fisherman and the old town by foot. If not, a Tuk Tuk ride takes 5 minutes. Everything was just perfect.
