What a lovely stay we had. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views. We had a dip in the pool in the evening and dinner on the balcony to top it off. Vijitha went out of his way to help us arrange our tickets for the train from Kandy to Ella, and drop us off at the train station. The location is perfect to get to Peradeniya Station (the stop before Kandy).

Everything was wonderful, the location is breathtaking, staff are incredibly warm and helpful, food was great, the pool is stunning and did some yoga watching the sunrise just next to it. Only time I’ve ever had a room with two panoramic views, one of the sunrise and one of the sunset!

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Beautiful welcome from Kamal, he guided us from the town so we wouldn’t get lost. He made us dinner and a wonderful breakfast. Such amazing hospitality! He even gifted me some fresh and dried pepper that he’d grown himself. Thank you again, I’d love to come visit again next time I’m in Sri Lanka and enjoy the beautiful view from the property and the pool again.

Very nice ambiance. Old kolonial style but very neat and well maintained. Only 5 rooms, so very cosy. Large rooms with nice beds. Great view on the surrounding hills. Very kind personel. Fast responding to my changing plans and questions. Good price for a nice rice and curry dinner.

The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. One of the absolute highlights was the Seafood BBQ dinner. The freshness, preparation, and flavour of every dish was simply superb. Mount Havana is a rare gem — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and run by people who genuinely care about your comfort. Incredible, incredible, incredible! Words cannot describe how much a gem this place is! In the middle of the most stunning nature and surroundings, it uses the features around it to add luxury to the stay. We loved all the different trails you can go on as well as other offerings available from yoga, massages, the swimming pool with a gorgeous view and bike rides, so your visit can be as active or as relaxed as you like! The owner took us on a magical trek to the river and a hidden waterfall, it was a highlight of our trip. We got to hear his plans for the resort including new trains of varying difficulty and other sustainable activities - we can’t wait to visit again in the future to try these! My children had the best time just being in nature and spotting all the wildlife from the monkeys, fruit bats, chipmunks, porcupines, it kept them entertained and they loved it! Booking a massage is a must, we had an incredible guy who gave the best massage I have ever had and as a female I never once felt awkward he was very respectful and dignified, Finally, Asanka - he was a dream come true for our stay. He made it truly special and he is a real asset to the resort. His cooking is incredible and every dish he made was delicious. He was always on hand for anything we needed, always cleaning the leaves from the pool, giving advice on places to visit, and making sure we had the very best of the hospitality of Aqua Duhinda and Sri Lanka!
