I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance.
I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance. The local people are very nice and helpful. The local food was delicious, and the environment was a relaxing atmosphere. If you get lost any local would help you with directions or even take you to your destination. Pakse had many Buddhist monuments that you can walk into and explore and take pictures. I loved the zipline over the Tad Fane Waterfall.

Pakse is probably one of the most beautiful places with really incredible people. We rented a bike, it was safe for us there are not many cars on the road and the ones on scooter drive safely. Pakse is a small, dirty town without a clear center. Few good restaurants, and few people speak English. You have to have a scooter to get anywhere. There are interesting places in the area but not many of them are properly developed. Rather, their best years are behind them. She is so energetic and full of ideas what you can do in Pakse and area around the city. The guesthouse is situated in a simple residential area. Don't be misled by the first impression of the small road. The area is sage and people are friendly. There are authentic day and night food markets in walking distance, a shopping mall is nearby and Tina will help you book buses or rent a motorbike. We felt very much at home.
