Very helpful with arrival from and departure to Pakse, the hire of the automatic scooter for two days. Our accommodation, Bungalow Deluxe was delightful with amazing views of the Mekong and no mosquitoes. The restaurant area was beautiful with good food, overlooking the Mekong and a lovely garden area. The room was beautifully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed. We hired a motorbike to go to Wat Phou and got a ferry from the hotel’s jetty across the river to catch the Green paradise bus to Si Phan Don. The staff were superbly helpful.

The River Resort is 8 km from the World Heritage site of Wat Phou. It offers stylish air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi.

The most professional service we've encountered on our Laos travels. On arrival, we got a lift by the owner from the boat to guesthouse and received a warm welcome. The room was just spectacular - grand view of Mekong from the balcony (sunrise over the river definitely worth waking up a little earlier!), large bed and bathroom and the best toilet we've encountered in all Laos. The guesthouse has a restaurant serving delicious Lao, Asian and Western meals and staff was very helpfull and friendly. In addition, the town of Champassak is so nice, clean and green - a pleasant change after Vientiane, Pakse etc. If you're visiting this area, Nakorn Guesthouse is highly recommended!
