Beautifully designed boutique hotel in convenient location near Myeongdong. The common areas and rooms have strong design appearance, that doesn't feel staged. We enjoyed our room and bathtub very much. The staff was very friendly and gave us a room with a great view. Over all we enjoyed our stay in this little escape and hopefully will visit again.

The location is 10/10 and the luxurious accommodations are something special! The attached dumpling restaurant and cafe below are divine or step right outside for the best shopping, restaurants and night market. The complimentary mini bar, walk-in shower, and robes make this hotel a most comfortable stay. The metro is nearby for easy connection to the rest of the city.

The location was perfect! Walking distance to the main Myeongdong street. Room was spacious and comfortable and staff were excellent and could speak English. There was a bakery in the hotel as well which was nice.

I gave this place a 10 thanks to the incredibly friendly and accommodating host and staff. They picked me up from Seoul Station free of charge, which was a huge help after a long trip, I didn’t have to deal with the hassle of finding a taxi. On a rainy day, I also received a thoughtful message telling me where to find an umbrella. They also helped me to catch a taxi upon my departure. The room is simply decorated but includes all the essentials, and most importantly, it was very clean. There’s no view from the room, but that wasn’t an issue for me. Great location, 5 mins walk to the closest subway station and several bus stops around.

The rooms were very clean, small but this wasn’t an inconvenience as we have not spent much time in the rooms. The location is fantastic, meters away from food street market and shops. Staff was very nice and helpful, rooms have been cleaned every day and they addressed all our requests. Linda and her colleague at checking desk was nice and ensure we are happy with the room and reminded us to just call the crew if anything else required. It is good to be noted there are no wardrobes due to the modern view of Moxy Hotel, but did not mind. Thank you all, we enjoyed our stay!

    I love Seoul because there are so many things to do both...

    I love Seoul because there are so many things to do both cultural and food. I like the Gwanjang market as well as Namdaemun and Myeongdong. I really love the pork and beef in Seoul. It’s very fresh and texture is great. It’s very easy to get around Seoul using subway and bus.

    Seoul is a wonderful city to visit.

    Seoul is a wonderful city to visit. There is never a day that you'll be bored! From delicious restaurants to fun music events, you'll never run out of things to do. If you buy a transport card and charge it up at the airport, you'll be able to get around the city with ease for a low price. I recommend visiting Coex Mall, Lotte World, Han River, and Seokchon Lake. If you download the Naver Map app, you can type in the kind of food you want to eat or the activity you want to do, and you'll find it easily. Have so much fun in the city that never sleeps!

    Fabulous city to visit... a must!!! Cheap, easy, and functional transport systems. Trains are so hi-tech, spacious, and comfortable. Super friendly and English speaking services and business people. Tax refund available. From 5-star hotels with all-inclusive services to user-friendly/cozy hostels... this city has it all. Prices for most things/services are very affordable... and there are various genres of eats and shopping outlets for all types of tastes and needs. Myeongdong has such a coool Artbox... great for souveniors for back home. Dongdaemun and Namdaemun markets have the world's greatest variety of goods at the best prices to be seen. These shopping markets are iconic stops for shopaholics. There are too many areas that have their own individual attractions and special ambiance and offerings. Dollars go a long ways here... so visit and enjoy like it's paradise. One of the best cities to see in all of Asia... no doubts here. Magnifico...

    I love how busseling Seoul is and all the sites and sounds it has to offer. Koreans still tend to be on the racist side especially if you are a person of color. That is the down side of this country. If they could stop that, Korea would be a great place.

    Location was excellent - you could reach the hotel with one train from the Incheon airport. Personally I really loved the Hongdae neighborhood - there were many cafes, shops, bars and clubs in the district that gave many options where to spend your evenings. We stayed in South Korea for 2 weeks and this was our favourite hotel. The premises and room of the hotel was quite new, with all necessary appliances. Check in/out was on the upper floor and the staff was really helpful - they even found my bracelet that I thought I had lost.

    1. It was a warm room. The hotel is very expensive around Myeongdong, but this guesthouse is very cheap compared to the hotel. 2. As in the review, the boss also made Korean kimchi pancakes for breakfast. 3. It's close to Myeongdong Station and there's a 7-Eleven convenience store right in front of the accommodation. 4. The lights are on on the street all evening, so it's nice to be able to go around alone. 5. The Namsan Tower was right behind me, so I could see it from my room.

Mercure has the absolute best location for Hongdae, just a minute’s walk from the station and central to all the action without any compromise.

    Amazing hotel, spacious, luxurious, clean, friendly staff, great facilities. The room was very comfortable and very spacious compared to other hotels in Seoul. We mentioned we were on our honeymoon, so the hotel offered us a bottle of wine and a box of Korean sweets which were delicious. The amenities in the room were excellent. And the view on the Han river and Gangnam is simply gorgeous.
