The reception staff kept my carry-on for one night before I checked in as I went to another area with just a small bag. I had a great view of Hallasan and the TV had Netflix and it was super easy to login with my phone. There was a convenience store on the 1st floor (ground floor) which was open until midnight. It is just outside Seogwipo downtown and has plenty of free parking. Our fifth floor room had a comfortable bed and stunning view over the town to Hallasan. Note that Jeju has two main cities: Jeju City (10 mins from the airport) and Seogwipo (where this hotel is). Without a VPN to check maps, I only saw the "23 km" straight-line distance and assumed a 30-minute trip—but it actually takes an hour by taxi.
