The Hamilton Villas are located on the sort of Caribbean beach that you dream of: long sandy beaches, fringed by palms, with a perfectly blue Caribbean sea and hardly anyone else there. And you just walk out of your villa and there it all is. Our two bed partial sea view unit was nicely decorated and serviced very thoroughly everyday by enthusiastic and very friendly cleaning team. Charlestown is a fifteen minute drives away for shopping and other facilities. Indian Summer, one of the best Nevis restaurants (if not the world!) is a 5 minute walk away and you can fill water bottles at the source of the Nelson Spring nearby.

People are amazingly friendly, a very clean and well kept resort with excellent facilities. Comfy beds, tidy service every other day. Plenty of sunloungers, beach had sargassum but was cleaned up and sea was fine for swimming. Reasonable food costs around the pool, fab ice cream. Non smoking only in very limited designated areas. Close to shops and very well stocked pharmacy accross the road

Nevis is a very enjoyable and has very good local food. I had breakfast there at Stella's Kitchen Restaurant very good. Nevis has developed tremendously. I visited Four Seasons Resort very classy. I brought my vehicle over from St. Kitts so I drove around a lot.

Relatively small, yet beautiful and full of history and places to see. Ideal for both nature and beach lovers, as well as those interested in colonial history. Proximity to St Kitts means more visits can planned to its sister island.

    Nevis is nice!

Nevis is nice! Do not waste the time and go on Pinneys Beach. The best beach on Nevis! Rent a car, roads are in good condition, or use taxi. Taxi is not cheap, but always available and simpler way to going somewhere, at least for me. And do not forget, you will be under influence of RUM, always :)) Beach restaurants are very good but, if you need something more refined, go for hotels restaurants. The cuisine is excellent! Nevis is a very good island to visit!

    Nevis is perfect!

Nevis is perfect! It is also relatively unknown, part of the reason that it is perfect. No cruise ships, no direct flights, no all-inclusive, no buffet dining. In other words, a certain type of less adventurous tourist does not go here. Many fabulous restaurants, with menu's from all over the world. 1st rate scuba dining. Multiple types of beaches, from the remote, wild and windy with crashing surf to the sedate, lounge chair, drinks and lunch being served variety.

Nevis Island is a little odd for a Caribbean Island.

Nevis Island is a little odd for a Caribbean Island. It has very few beaches and the sand is medium brown and coarse because it is volcanic. The water at the beach isn't the super clear Caribbean Blue that I expected for a Caribbean Island. There also isn't much entertainment activities on the island except for the beach. The local people I met were great. They are very gracious and generous and pleasant to meet and converse with. If you want to get away from it all Nevis is a great choice. If you want a vacation with a lot of action Nevis is probably the wrong choice.
