Searenity was a little piece of Heaven on Earth. We loved our stay! Jas and the team went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. Nothing was too much! We stayed for 4 nights in one of 6 (I think 6!) rooms on the resort. It is quiet and intimate without the chaos of a big resort. It is situated right on the beach - white sand and blue ocean as a backdrop for every meal. The swimming pool was a treat too! (and only open to residents). Our room was spacious, the bed super comfortable and we had a shower and very large tub to choose between. The aircon worked wonderfully. We loved that the rooms had solar power (yay for saving the Earth), but also had the option to switch over if needs be (if water was not heated enough early in the morning). There were a few nation-wide electricity cuts while we were there, but the solar power helped, and generators kicked in immediately. The WiFi was speedy and we managed to do some work while we were on holiday. We opted for the breakfast and dinner inclusive for our stay, which was flexible if we decided to eat at another restaurant in the evening (we could have a lunch instead). Jas is also the chef, and we were treated to the MOST incredible food. I can't say it enough. The portion sizes were huge and every meal was delicious and fresh! We could have a sharing starter, a main and a dessert, (and endless home made ice-cream and sorbet to our hearts content). The restaurant is open to the public, but guests were always prioritised and guaranteed the best tables. Jas was able to recommend some wonderful activities and restaurants within the area and arranged taxis and tuk tuks for us. The staff were an absolute highlight for me. So friendly, accommodating, approachable and kind. Our rooms were made up every morning and turned down every evening. I can't recommend Searenity Beach Villa enough. We hope to be back one day soon!

Very well run boutique hotel with kind, helpful, polite and always smiling staff. They worked for us hard from early in the morning till late in the evening.The garden was very well-kept, it was amezing, we felt like being in paradise. The food was so tasty with wide range. Amkia Villas are extremely amazing value for money, super clean and bright and I really loved our stay. Everyone was very welcoming and flexible. The pool is also perfect size and everything else was also just perfect. I will definitely visit again!

Fantastic setting, wonderful rooms and pool that sweeps around this great Boutique Hotel. All the staff were excellent and friendly, they clearly enjoyed their jobs as well as excellent training. The Chef made fantastic meals, including Tuna carpaccio and Lobstwr Thermidor. Fantastic Hotel!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boxo Hotels in Diani, Galu Beach, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The property’s cleanliness was truly impressive, with every corner sparkling and well-maintained. Shilingi, in particular, stood out with their exceptional service and warm demeanor. The entire team demonstrated a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my visit. The unique container eco-hotel concept adds a charming touch to the experience, with comfortable and well-designed rooms that offer excellent insulation from the heat. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful Galu Beach, allowing for easy access to the stunning coastline. The hotel’s amenities, including the outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant, further enhanced the stay. The pool area was clean and inviting, providing a refreshing retreat after a day at the beach.     Diani beach is a great place to chill, relax, swim in warm ocean waters. Diani beach has a vibrant and eclectic nightlife , for those who want it. Getting around by tuk-tuk taxi is cheap and easy, the people are fab, But . . . don't go in May, or early June, it is very very rainy! December to March are best, Jan & Feb dryest by far. Enjoy.

    Diani is a must see while visiting Kenya. Just make sure you pick your dates well. We visited Diani in April which was the start of the raining season but it was hot. The dry season runs from August to December and I can only imagine how hot it can get. Many resorts don't have A/C but portable fans in rooms. It helps but the rooms are still hot. Bring insect repellent sprays as insects and mosquitoes are around. Plenty of activities to do. Wasani day trip is a must do, camel/horse rides along the beach, sunset in Congo river, glassboat rides, jet ski, kite surfing etc. Be ready to negotiate anything you buy as the locals have the tendency to overcharge foreigners. Also there is a small splash place for kids. It is not as big and elaborate as the big theme parks but it helps keep the kids busy and distracted.

    Diani beach is fabulous.

    Diani beach is fabulous. Try to go early morning and early evening to get the best experience without sunburn. The glass-bottom boat trip to Robinson Island is wonderful and you can snorkel just meters off the sand island. Don’t worry if you didn’t bring a snorkel, they usually have some on the boats (ask before you set out and they will borrow from each other).

    Diani beach and Galu beach just south of Diani are beautiful...

    Diani beach and Galu beach just south of Diani are beautiful white sandy beaches offering all sorts of water sports including diving. Great restaurants along the beach. A wide range of hotels to chose from. I love Diving the Crab dive center at Nomads, which also has a lovely beach-front restaurant. The Salty Squid is great place for either lunch or dinner. Great snorkelling and kitesurfing.

    The cleanest beach in the World!

    The cleanest beach in the World! The white sandy beaches go on forever.. Hotels are just perfect, beach bars are well maintained and the staff the best you can find. Water sports like Jet skying, Kite surfing and scuba diving are easily accessible and affordable. A visit to see the diverse marine life at for Snorkeling and deep sea fishing can be arranged from the hotel. This place takes my breath away with each visit.

    The place is really cute and suitable for stay at the diani beach. It's USP is that it is on the Diani beach. The beach is beautiful and so was the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here. We are vegetarians so the chef also catered our special request for the breakfast and gave us whatever we asked for. Appreciate the same.

    The resort is right next to the Indian Ocean. The breeze is amazing. It is reputed to be the best resort on the Diani beach stretch and it lived up to its reputation. On our first night we had dinner in the gardens with grills. That was lovely. The spa was great. Fantastic massage! Very polite and helpful staff.
