Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Room was more spacious than other twin rooms I've encountered in Japan too. Included breakfast was very welcome and they were happy to modify for vegetarian diet.

    Sakai is where the Black Ship finally stopped, it brough the first Portugese to Japan. The city is full of history and is where some of the best knives in the country are made. Easy to walk around, barely a tourist in sight, it is a wonderful counter balance to the frentic and congested Osaka scene. Highly recomend the knife factory and history tour, you can book that through Trip Advisor. Remi the guide was fantastic.

    You are staying there Just for the sleep, nothing more.

    You are staying there Just for the sleep, nothing more. The room has it's own bath, massage chair, flat screen, all sorts of things. But it is poor in terms of hygiene and room service. However, you should keep in mind not to have high expectation, since it's considerably cheap.

    Great area with stores open till late and an interesting place to explore on walks. The area was safe even at night. Sakai is well located between the KIX airport and Namba also is one of the express trains stops. Bars and restaurants open very late at night plus convenience stores everywhere open 24/7. Excellent shopping Mall there also and other supermarkets all in easy walking distance from the station.

    Location. It’s just a stone throw away from Sakai Station which has direct connection to/from the airport and Dotonbori (Namba). Just be sure to catch the last train, otherwise it’s going to be an expensive taxi ride to the hotel. Helpful Staff. They assisted in sending my luggage to my next hotel allowing me to have a hands-free travel from Osaka to Shizuoka. Value for Money. For an additional 1000 yen per hour, you can do early check in if a room is available.

    The price is unbeatable especially for big families like mine. Location is quite convenient. At least for our plan to be somewhere between Nara and Osaka. Nearby there is a mall that you can get food and stuff. Has its own parking space which accommodates fair number of cars.

    It was easy to access with nearby food and museums. The famous tombs are bearby. It's a quiet neighborhood which makes it very confortable. It is easy to get to Osaka city center or to the airport from here.
