The Sago Palm hotel exceeded my expectations in everyway. Located in the heart of every thing. Getting out and around was easy. I traveled alone and I felt safe when I went out. Lots of shops and restaurants around to sample the local delicacies and feel the true spirit of Jamaica. The staff at the hotel were all phenomenal! Great food that came piping hot! Clean and well maintained rooms and surroundings. I can't fault anything about this hotel. I am very happy that I chose to stay there and will return and proudly give my recommendations.

Good value for the price! I was able to book transportation from Montego Bay airport with the hotel for me and my adult son; along with our 3 checked bags, personal items and carryon for $60.00 U.S. I needed a stop over hotel just to be able to unpack our suitcases for my 10 siblings. The hotel had everything we needed to be comfortable. I am glad that there was mesh on their windows, air conditioning, good wifi, fridge and a microwave. Everything worked beautifully. The staff were friendly, helpful, personable and accommodating. We ate dinner at Soldiers Restaurant which was within a 5-minute walking distance from the hotel. We has a very simple breakfast the next morning at the hotel before being picked up by family. Moving forward, Pineapple Court will be my newly stop over place to stay in Ochie. A great big thank you to all of the staff at Pineapple Court for working so hard in the heat to make our stay a success!🤗

It located just next to the Caribbean sea. We go snorkeling every afternoon. It also very close to down town, we walk round the downtown area looking for dinners. Our room has a balcony with good view.

    Wonderful place.

    Wonderful place. We enjoyed everything about it (find the little gem which is the natural mineral pool - so refreshing!). The staff are wonderful -- friendly, helpful and attentive. The singing chef making our eggs at breakfast is a superstar! As a place to chill out and have some 'us time' it was perfect. Highly recommend it.

    Ochi Rios typical tourist location in Jamaica where...

    Ochi Rios typical tourist location in Jamaica where specific populations are served. There are hidden gems to be found but you have to search them out. Insiders stay up in the hills above Ochi and drive down. The toll road is not far so you can explore other parts of the island. It’s not a bad staging point and there is lots to do if you wish to be active. A good staging point for adventurers further afield.

    Perfectly located for people who would love to enjoy the beauty of Jamaica with easy access to locations like Dunns River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Blue Hole just to name a few. A visit to Blue Hole is strongly recommended we had a wonderful time there and had a great meal at Scotchies the jerk pork, jerk chicken and roast fish were awesome

    Book your own excursions although they give you 500 for resort items. Don’t book your stay through booking.com that cost you 64 dollars round trip per person from the airport it’s included with a direct reservation

    Ocho Rios has a very small town feel.

    Ocho Rios has a very small town feel. You feel safe, the locals are friendly. They have all the modern day convenience, grocery stores, restaurants dine in take out. Dunno River Fall-FABULOUS, Shopping Mall, fabulous, Miss T restaurant delicious food and service- I highly recommend Getting around by foot or taxi inexpensive and easy. No issues as a lone traveler early morning walks late evening returns cry safe.

    It is still a friendly, open, safe coastal town. Lovely old market, great for buying local produce, and trendy clothes. Nice bars & restaurants, music venues & occasional live reggae concerts - always great music & atmosphere. Support local tourism, avoid cruise & all inclusive.

    The apt is in the perfect location for beach,nightlife and resteraunts all in walking distance. Pauline the host is a sweetheart. They even gave me a bottle of sparkling wine for my Birthday to add that special touch to my stay. Security is on the property 24/7. Parking is gated. I will book this apt any time I am in Ocho Rios no question. Martin the owner also reached out via message to thank us for choosing his property which was very nice for him to take time out to do. Love this place hidden 💎

    Everything else was great! We stayed an additional night. Keep that chef! The food was some of the best we have tasted in Jamaica, The fish fingers were great, fish sandwich equally as good. The Jerk chicken was only available on one of the nights, which was a shame, but we know why... because it was divine. A must is a trip out with Ricky on the Wat a Bam Bam boat! Short drive to Dunns River Falls. Would revisit without hesitation.
