Very nice staff, and a nice breakfast area. The breakfast was very good, and had hand-made coffee as well as delicious mozzarella every morning. The staff remembered our coffee order and got it ready for us as soon as they saw us come down.

The staff reached out a few days early to ask when I might check in. I was going to be after hours for their desk so they were so attentive and ensured I knew how to find the hotel, where to locate the keys, etc. Even sending a very detailed video! The desk staff when we were there were super lovely and helped us with taxis, finding things etc. The room was so large and lovely. Free yogourts and water - simple but very appreciated. Thank you! Highly recommend this hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Naples

Vibrancy, Vespas, Vesuvius

Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and funicular railways. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.

At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.

While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of visitable tunnels and even a Graeco-Roman theatre which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!

Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artefacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.

As for accommodation, Booking.com has a wealth of hotels near Naples Airport, old town B&Bs, city centre apartments and more to help you make the most of your stay.

Naples is a must see city to visit and you will needs days not hours to appreciate just how much it has to offer. It may not be the cleanest of cities and it breaks my heart to see how little regard there is for its cleanliness, but its cobble stones lanes, food, art and history this place is a dream to realise.

People must understand that Naples is not modern western cities. It’s very old and has much history behind it beautiful areas, for example historic district, Spanish quarters and much much more to see and do great shopping lots of stores and restaurants great nightlife. Teo Toledo BNB is fantastic in the heart of the Spanish quarters, and all the action, and historic District The room which we rented was very comfortable and had everything and plus that we needed Diego and staff are very friendly and very personal. They take care of us from from start to end. **********

Naples is a vibrant, raw, colourful, gritty, chaotic city that doesn’t hide any skeletons! You are immersed in Neapolitan life. Fabulous food and culture. Almost too much to soak in. Great city break. Make it two centre if possible and chill somewhere quieter to relax after you’ve explored! We loved it. (Family of four/ two teenagers.)

Other than our BnB and maybe the underground tour, visiting...

Other than our BnB and maybe the underground tour, visiting this city was honestly the worst part of our trip in Italy! For one, it felt dirty and unsafe in the surrounding parts of the main station. The food was okay at best, caused stomach pain at other times, such as the "famous" Napoli pizza (do NOT recommend). The Pompei tour was so-so, and the underground tour was cool, but our guide ended it suddenly in front of a bunch of eager waiters trying to force us to their restaurants to buy their food. The Viva Toleda station was NOTHING worth seeing inside or outside the station, and you had to pay to ride the metro in order to see what was advertised online. We do not recommend going to Naples at all. Period. You can spend your time better in other parts, such as in the northern part of Italy or in Sicily.

You have to be prepared for the madness of Naples.

You have to be prepared for the madness of Naples. It’s loud, unapologetic but also amazing if you look deeper. I was told Naples has many sides and it’s up to you to find them, which is very true. Around every corner there is a surprise, or a story so take time to look and find the many faces of Naples ❤️ we had 3 days and did Pompeii, Vesuvius, underground Naples tour, funicular to Vomero and st Elmo’s for spectacular views of the city, lots of getting lost in the historic district. Lots of great places to eat off Toledo St - Owap Pizza was a fave. We found it quicker to walk than get buses and so much more interesting.

It was on the train station and we could just stay overnight and travel away from Naples in the morning. Very convenient when traveling to and from the airport as well, as the bus stops 2 min walking away only. This way we did not need to carry our luggage around the city. The room was convenient, had comfortable beds and clean bathroom. All was clean. There was a common kitchen and a terrace in the hotel that was beautiful, looking at the internal court of the building. I liked that very much, as it created a feeling of Italy.

This hotel was the grandest hotel I have ever stayed in. You can't really call it a hotel if it's a palace. It was the perfect ending to our 3.5 week trip in Italy. We had seen so many museums and palaces and then we stayed in one . Pictures and words cannot describe how Grand this Hotel was . Only a few rooms in this hotel it was something special. I am totally lost for words. It was like staying in a museum. The room was enormous. The ceilings are WOW !! If you ever stay in Naples this is a once in a lifetime place to stay.

Nice and clean hotel. Staff were very welcoming and restaurant staff were exceptional. The location is great, round the corner from the stations where u can get trains to explore Naples and the rest of Italy if you want to. I would definitely book here again. Room was spacious, airy and very clean and we got our request for a disabled room for my 81 year old mum. Rooms were very comfortable.
