My main goal for that vacation was to relax myself from the monotonous work life. Because of that hotel I absolutely relaxed and charged myself with positive energy, the staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced.     The old part of the city is fun to explore - two days at most Much of the newer part of the city you could skip Highlight of the trip was the boat tour to Polignare a Mare - small boat with 12 stops and time to swim in the Adriatic!

    Monopoli is very beautiful with good shops, good restaurants, good views, attractive white architecture, some nice beaches, boat cruises, and a few cultural interest things such as the cathedral, the museum under the cathedral and, on the same piazza, the Museo Diocesano.

    Monopoli was great city to stay in; small enough to have character and large enough to cater to all our needs. A perfect blend of tourism and every day experiences. Definitely one of our favourite spots in Italy so far. A highlight was dinner at a superb restaurant called My Wine right in the centre of the old town. We found some hospitality staff in restaurants and retail to be quite rude compared to other towns in Puglia but the service and food at My Wine was a huge standout!

    Stay in the old city.

    Stay in the old city. Monopoli's charm is in the storied history behind its stone walls, mixed with the locals and tourists sunbathing on rocks and sandy beaches, side by side, soaking up the summer sun. Make Monopoli your base for Puglia for convenience. Great beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. Water at the beaches was stunning. Architecture is charming.

    Monopoil is quite small but it is so lovely.

    Monopoil is quite small but it is so lovely. If you want a compact town with swimming straight off the town walls, and a picture perfect centre with squares, restaurants and bars, this is a must visit.

    10-15 drive to monopoli and polignano. Pool was clean and wonderful. The house was very large and just great to stay in. Host was very helpful, gave us a lot of plaves near by that we could go to and get takeaway from. Supermarket is 10 mins away with a great selection of wines and as well as various cheese and meats. Honestly the best place we stayed at in Italy by a long way. You do need a car though. Perfect for a group or large family as the accomodation easily caters for 4-5 people. The only regret was not staying there longer.

    The apartment is fantastic and the host is incredible. The lodge is very clean and tidy,everything intact. The bed was very confortable and the bath tub was very amazing after a sunny day. Me and my wife experienced a wonderful stay with Lorenzo. He helped us with a free car parking place and everything was easy for us. Monopoli is a wonderful place and Lorenzo's apartment is the best place to stay. I wish i could give more than 10 ! Thank you Lorenzo!!!

    What we likes best was our host, Stefano. As a welcoming present we got a fresh Foccacia, that was really delicious! Die Apartment has a roof terrace that is always open for you, great to relax! It is also really close by to the centro storico, just about 10 minutes walking. Stefano also knows all the good places and was gibing us great recommendations. Monopoli is a beautiful city and Stefano helped us to get the best out of our stay!
